Those are slightly different uses. They're not a shortening of 라고 or 다고 or 냐고 or 자고, but include 해(요). So ~다고 해(요) shortens to ~대(요). This means they're more limited in their usage.

You probably don't actually know that many vocabulary words, but simply have that many words in your vocab deck. In order to "know" them you would have to have a way of practicing them. Otherwise they'll always sit in the back of your head for completing your vocabulary review, but not be close enough to access quickly in a conversation or to use for understanding. This is why I usually recommend only learning a few vocabulary words, and focusing instead on practicing - vocabulary is super important later on, but in the beginning it's not useful to know a million words without being able to use them yet. I'd recommend going back and starting from the beginning, and just practicing everything you can as you move through the lessons.

Because then you wouldn't be able to read it quickly, and you'd need to learn different spellings for every single word in every single situation in order to write it.

I mean that, as you taught us, in the present, when a verb stem adds a suffix, this suffix becomes ONE in the new syllable: For instance, in the present; 보다 becomes 보 + ㅏ = 봐 Verbs in ㅜ become ㅝ Verbs in ㅣ become ㅕ Etc, In the passive form, 보다 becomes 보이다 and not 뵈다, why? The reason behind that is it to “mark” the passive (in the verb) po-이-da？ My question might sound strange, but I always look for a logical explanation behind linguistic rules! Thank you

@@xopowo1979 Combining the syllables is for conjugating verbs to the 요 form, but it doesn't always happen. There's a separate verb 뵈다 that came from 보 + 이 but is not used the same way, so it would be confusing to write it that way.

ㅌ (strong consonant) is like having more air before ㄷ, but it's overall the same sound. If you just say ㄷ with more air, you get ㅌ. Imagine there's a "H" sound before ㄷ (kind of like breathing more), and you get ㅌ.

That's a common short form ~(으)래(요) and I have several videos about short quoting forms. It's short for 뭐라고 했어. Short quoting forms aren't more/less natural - they're simply used when they can be used in informal speech.

The ~라고 form is just the (이)라고 form, which is the same form used in 뭐라고요. But those aren't for this sort of quoting - those are "Someone said (direct quote)."
