Yes, 2003 was a banner year! I was handed this book from a colleague. It changed my life and opened my eyes to the joy of God. It helped me stop beating up on myself and recognizing that others were the same as me. - Gods, godding through the universe. Thanks, Neale. I no longer “fear” God. I love her.

Thank you for this breath of fresh air...we have been fooled for too long to think and believe that GOD only speaks to special people to speak to us and we are forced to discard our genuine feelings and experiences and intuitions and cede power for our personal wellbeing over to others to control us and determine how we live...oh who bewitched us🤔🤔

So much lying mixed with ideas from Bible! So, now you decide what to do or not, what’s right and what’s wrong, You Are god now? No, there is only one God and He is the truth and His Word- Bible is His guidance to all of us and yes everyone can read and see what is truth and love, because He is Love!

My aunt gave me this book to borrow in 2000. I remember it like yesterday. I have re-read it a few times over the years depending on what has been going on in my life. I read the book and finished it around 4:30pm. I knew there were two other books, and at 4:30pm rushed out to the nearest shopping centre down the road and purchased book 2, because I didn’t want it to finish. Books 2 and 3 are more complex. I think I’d get more out of them at this age than back then- especially on the topic of other beings.

The thelogy in this book seems very much influencend by the middle eastern philosopher Ibn Arabi (1165-1240), who is almost unknown in the west. According to Ibn Arabi God creates the world because he wants to experience himself. However he can only do that by experiencing what he is not. I believe even Ibn Arabi uses the picture that God is the white light that contains all other colors just as it is found in Conversations with God. This means God has to limit himself and create colors (the world of phenomenons), which will allow him to experience himself through the human consciousness. If you like Conversations With God you may want to go on studying the theology of Ibn Arabi.

Thank you for sharing this audio book on the tube, I’m definitely digging this and gotta grab the physical paperback for my small library of reads. Just hooked me at about the 8 min mark. Discerning what thoughts/messages are from God and which aren’t. My mind was blown by the author’s s clear, simple, and almost common sense answer (that for some reason I do not ever consider or take for granted). SO THE FIRST THOUGHT THAT BRINGS JOY, is from GOD…the rest ain’t. Preach it brother!

Reading these comments. I am reminded why I left the church. I thank Jesus that I can read my bible and pray and not be involved in toxic christian politics …. Regarding whether it's "right" in the eyes of God, many Christians no longer believe that judgment should be approached with humility. That they have the authority to declare what is right in the eyes of god. Jesus taught in Matthew 7:1-2, "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged." “Christians” should be cautious in declaring others’ works as evil or demonic without understanding their true intent or nature. If it doesn’t sit well with you - then ask yourself what would Jesus do? How would he teach others to open their hearts - judgmental and publicly shaming? No I do not believe that. Many Christian’s are just as radical as muslims …. Yet they are too righteous to see that they are turning into the very people they judge and shame.

I am 74 years old. I was a believer until I was 7 years old. I was sitting in a religious studies class listening to the teacher talking about God and his only son Jesus. I asked the teacher if the Bible was true and he responded - Yes - every word. As I was also studying Greek, Latin and French (I am English and had a real classical education), I asked in what language was the Bible written ? He said some was in Greek, some in ancient Aramaic. So I said - 'the words I am reading, are therefore a translation and are not directly the words of God ? Yes he said, but the translators were Christian scholars, who 'interpreted' the words written down, to make them more intelligible for us. So - David - was not a King ? No, they had no concept of kingship, he would just have been the leader or chief of one of the many nomadic tribes. I asked further - how much, is therefore 'interpretation', because they were illiterate bronze age nomads living in the desert 2,000 years ago and we were now living in the 20th century (we were then) ? He responded, a lot, to make it relevant for us today living in towns and cities. My faith was teetering. Did they change the names, to make them sound for acceptable, rather than old bronze age names ? Yes, they had to. The first Bible translated into English, was the Tyndale version in the early 15 hundreds. Before that, it was translated into Latin, that normal people couldn't understand. They needed a priest to interpret it for them. Did they change the name of God ? Yes. In the Bible his name is Yahweh, but that sounded too foreign. But I said - 'God' is a generic term, not a name ? Surely we need to pray to a person by name, not a generic term for all supernatural beings ??? The teacher was running out of explanations. What was Jesus' name ? In the Bible, he doesn't have a name, but they refer to him as - 'Yeshua', which is the Hebrew word for 'Salvation'. My last few moments of faith - so when we pray each day to Jesus, our prayers go nowhere because the name is made up ??? I might just as well be praying for help to Pete ??? Isn't that the same in my prayers to 'God' ? They are going nowhere either ? - Silence from the teacher. All faith and belief in the Christianity and the Bible destroyed at the age of 7. If I can do that at 7, why do grown adults, still believe in all this in such ignorance - miracles, raising people from the dead. heaven and hell eternal salvation / damnation - just for a thought. 'God, watching your every move and even listening to your innermost thoughts.

Thank you for clarifying Yehway (God) and Yeshua (Salvation) [Jesus] for me! Loved your story ❤ I'm 54 and just figuring it all out. Trying anyways. My nationality is "Oceti Sacowin" meaning 7 Nations; Oglala (one of those seven nations) Sioux Tribe(named by French Americans) Native (meaning originally) American (who have gave the original inhabitants of this continent a new name of "Indian") No wonder I've been so confused about who I am 😂😂😂 (oh also I'm a "Feather 🪶" Indian not a dot 🔴 Indian) 🤭🤣 With all those names I've come to call "labels", I'v finally figured out most of who I do not want to be. therefore I am trying to be the best I can be with what I have. Figuring out the Bible has always been a challenge that I just could never wrap my brain around 🧠🤯 . Being raised Catholic (not of my natural culture) I too, questioned EVERYTHING to a point of "no logical answers to very real logical questions 🤣 And allot was simply because I didn't know the meanings of words 😮 Yehway and Yeshua, God and Jesus. So thank you again for this clarity as I listen to the rest of this Book. Many Blessings to you 🤲🏽 ( 🙏🏽 )

This book is from the pits of hell!! In 2001, a friend loaned it to me and shortly after the first few pages when I read that you should go along with your feelings more than the written Word, my discernment kicked in and I casually asked God, “Is this true God?” He immediately told me to bring the book to church and ask my pastor the next day. I never showed the book to anyone or said anything about it. Guess what that day’s sermon was about? Books that are claiming to be Christian but they’re from the pits of hell and Satan uses them to deceive us. There’s truth sprinkled in it but ultimately leads you away from the truth. Then he mentioned this book by name and said “it should be called ‘conversations with Satan’!” I could NOT believe God answered my question through the pastor’s sermon without me even asking the pastor. That is NOT a coincidence you guys. Out of all the things the sermon could’ve been about, God cared enough about my question to lead the pastor to write a sermon about it. I busted into tears and brought it to him after the service and he told me to trash it. I will never ever forget that for all eternity. Don’t be deceived, brothers and sisters.

Lean not on your own understanding. Freewill with 10 rules is not Freewill. IF God is perfection, thus belief in Commandments makes it all imperfect. Making God imperfect. Those who rely on Scriptures only, are in fear. Scriptures, like religion is a control mechanism. Either way, I'll see you in "Heaven".🙌🤠🙌
