Bht suffer kia maine bht. Muj say aik portion cheen kar aik room may shift kar dia may chup rahe, n phr mujhay pata chala he is not mentally n physically fit man. Phr may rahti rahe, may wahan apni marzi say kuch kah nae sakti thi. I remember uski maa, behan , kahla baith rahti n may aik maid ki tara kam karti, meray upar taunts marti. Aik rhat he hit me with a remote, wo remote meray hath par laga. Wo sub yeh meray sath karta n phr apnay parents ko kehta yeh mujhay tang karti hai, may chup kar kay is ko dakhti rahti. atlast aik rhat us nay mujhay first divorce day di , maine yeh bat ami ko nae batye. But jb may parents kay ghar lhr aye to they called my mom n said apki beti ka 2 years say kisi kay sath affair hai n hum divorce day rahy hain. May bht roye , bht. Nn abe be i am not mentally fine.. bas namaz parti hon n Allah sy dua karti hon. Mujhay to saman be nae laynay dia un nay mujhay ghar may nae ghusnay dia , n phr khud meray bags pack kar kay behjay. Loved this story. It resonates alot with my own life. My ex left me too after his mother ordered him to(out of jealousy) and I had to fend for myself and my child. Some mother in laws are so heartless, they don't think it could ever happen to their own daughters. They raise monsters because they never tell their sons they are wrong when they are. In a Muslim country , we should spread awareness about Marital rape. Almost every islamic scholar and majority of our population do not believe in a sexual abuse done by a partner . Our society justify it through rusted ,old , illogical slogan of "Shohar ka Haq" . No , a woman does not owe her body to her husband or anyone But Allah ,only Allah and Allah never wants to see His creatures in pain . There is a girl I know. She married a man who was schizophrenic and they did not know that. The family of schizophrenic thought that this disease has no treatment so getting him married might solve that. This is how they distroyed the life of that young, beautiful, educated girl. For those who don't know:schizophrenia is a situation where a person lives in another character, another fictional world. His that character was violent. He used to beat her and also one time beat his father in law. This all happened within 4 months of marriage and now she is divorced. What did that male family get by hiding this secret. @@marwahayat9846 well normal people also have violent tendencies. Domestic violence is rampant in our society. Not everyone is suffering from schizophrenia. Beating your wife or your own "father" like in this case has nothing to do with schizophrenia, rather it shows that he had poor anger management issues. I am not denying that the man did not have schziophrenia , but just stating the fact that his violent nature was due to him being ill-tempered. I wouldn't have commented on this comment, but when I read you describing schziophrenia it irked me. It further strengthens the stereotype that "pagal" person is violent.There is zero education about mental illness and most of the people label any mental illnesses as "pagal pan" and those who suffer from it are labeled as violent individuals who should be bound to chains in isolation. In reality schziophrenia ,psychosis, BPD etc.are treatable diseases. Individuals are not violent rather most of the times they are themselves subjected to abuse which further deteroites their condition. Hope it explains everything.

Bohat hi brave young woman. Very wise and supportive family. She suffered too much and her parents suffered with her. I can't tell you how much I have cried after watching this episode, in fact I am still crying. I have been in the same boat. My husband left me with my parents when I was 5 months pregnant and never returned. I have a baby girl now 11 months old, he didn't even showed any desire to see her, let alone see her. Keeping aside, what he did to me, I fail to understand that is he even human that he so easily disowned his own child? Mind you, that my husband and his family are from reasonably educated and respected background.
