As the show wound down and people reconciled their issues, the character I was happiest about was Sally. She didn't let the one boy (who came to her dorm room) have his way with her. And later she met the boy with the telescope who took her to star gaze and he actually, really wanted to star gaze with her and she kissed him. She ended up liking the right kind of boy. She had learned not to be like either of her parents and follow her heart.

Attention to the details, the subtleties in the writing/dialog, the personality differences among the characters... Mad Men is a brilliant series. Peggy was great to watch for 7 years. Roger was hilarious.

I've seen several interviews with January Jones and I can't tell if she's just very introverted/shy or isn't sure how to describe Betty. She's pretty good when talking about her relationship with Sally. But when it comes to Betty it's a lot of, "Um" and "I don't know". I know some actors are great on screen but then can be at a loss for words in an interview...

I think she absolutely has a solid and nuanced point of view but Betty was one of the most divisive characters on the show so I think she’s trying to find the right words to do her justice (or she’s just a bit scattered when answering questions). Kiernan is so cute and well spoken. We're going to hear and see a lot of her in the future. I thought it was so cute that she kept her left hand between her knees the whole time for fear of the audience seeing up her dress. January is very shy by looking down when she spoke...I didn't know that!

The cast is wonderful but the production values are embarrassing. Feels like a high school production - horrible sound quality, poor lighting, odd camera angle, curtain from the stage/gym of my kid's elementary school. Very disappointing that the cast had to deal with that.
