He is what really started me on my science KZbin obsessions years ago.

I don't have a cassette player, nor do I know where to find one [that works], but I still have some of my old mix tapes!
@AdamMansbridge2 жыл бұрын
Cassette players that don't work are often only medium-tedious to repair. The rotating parts are connected with rubber belts that perish, those are a normal service item and are intended to be easily replaced Tediousness comes from some needing a fair bit of disassembly to get at some belts

I am laughing at the 90s nerd kid memories. Class of 94, here, from Ohio. I miss the cassette tape days and Waldenbooks at the mall. Looking at the DnD books and imagining what it would be like to have enough nerdy friends to play. Dubbing filk music tapes from friends because none of us had much money. I had a pet snake and pet rats. It was a good time to be young.

I love Trace and I was telling my friend I have to have been watching you on seeker since 2017. Seeker plus isn't the same. But I love how at 1:21:45 Joe asks trace of he heard the lawn mower and trace turns his head left and right towards the monitor while he's wearing head phones 🤣 I wish proximity chat worked like that with 3 dimension hearing through calls. Weird to think about in deeper retrospect

I’m fairly new to Trace. I think I subscribed maybe 6 months before his kid was born… I grew up and went to college (MSU) in Michigan, so about 15 miles from Dewitt, lol I now live outside of a VERY small town in Texas. (I’m 12 miles from town, with a population of 312) I love hearing about this kind of conversation. Tidbits and stories.

Being a new Dad as well, I feel what you are saying Trace about there not being good content for new Dads. Please do write down those thoughts and share them. The new gen of dads needs all the info we can get.

1:47:01 I wonder if it would be like a stroke? I have had several and healed. I had to learn everything over again. My brain had to find a pathway to my legs. It was the weirdness of looking at my legs and sending the command to my leg and nothing happening. The most unusual thing was after sending thousands of commands to move and nothing happening at all. I was told to stop by the therapists! She said completely stop trying to move you leg. When it doesn't work stop relax and try once. Each time it doesn't work stop then try once again. One day my leg flew up and hit my chest. She said stop stop stop your getting excited and frustrated. Your getting excited because your leg moved and sending hundreds of signals! That's why you just kick yourself in the chest with your knee! Your trying to learn how to control your legs another way not make them move. You keep brute forcing your legs to move you will never learn to walk again. This is about learning to control not move. I would imagine it would be a lot like that!

I have Nebula. Content is great, app is a bit clunky and isn't available for my tv so have to cast which makes it more clunky. So I view on KZbin if available dispite ads.
