At the beginning of this year my autistic 14 yr old was banned from public school. We are struggling with self harm. And I have found myself sitting on the couch with him every day, all day until dad returns from work. I just hold him all day, with 7 other children to tend to. Life is presently difficult. But, these podcasts have helped encourage me not to give up. And my husband and I are believing Isaiah 48 ... we're praying for an all of a sudden moment. We believe! Thank you for pouring out what Holy Spirit reveals!

So sorry Mrs J-Ray that your Son was bannad from that school! I pray for you! 7 times back to you! In the Bible is also written that for your shame you will have double. Your son also will get double and seven times back! So nice of you to hold your son so he will feel calm but understand it is not easy with seven children! Yes,good to stand on scriptures trusting the Lord! I pray for help in your situation! Such a heart you have for your son and your children! Thats is wonderful to see! God wants our children to be our gold but loving God first. Children need time and love from their parents. That is important and you do a great job! You have big wage in heaven! Life can be tuff. I also has suffered very much and go through things but God gives back eaven if some in heaven and we also go through things. When you suffer you can think about that Yeshua/Jesus suffered most for you! Our suffering is just a drop in a sea in the suffering he had for us at Calvary in his deep love! He was abandoaned for us we see in Ps 22 and he has a warm and compassionate heart and is crushed for people in pain by compassion in pain! He cares and is there in all carrying you! He surrounds you with his love we see in Ps 139:5! It is good to read about how the Messiah Yeshua/Jesus suffered for you for instance in Isaias 53 as is like a poem about his deep suffering love giving all for the sheep also showing the warm and compassionate of the Father,ABBA,Daddy who sent him! He gave all for us,John 3:16! I think it is good to put on christian songs when it is tuff and to worship lifts and sing christian songs. The Bible is a Book with much comfort, too. You do need to feel selfharm. You are so precious for Yeshua and in Song of Solomo we see a lot of a right self-picture in Yeshua for instance that you are like a rose among thorns, special for him and that you are so precious for the heavenly Bridegroom Yeshua! He is crushed by his love to you we also see in Song of Solomo! See your value! 💎 You also have done a great job with your son and take care of seven children! That is amazing! I pray for you all! About value in Isaias 49 is written also that you are not forgotten for God and is like a precious child for God and written in his hands! 🤲💎💙 Yeshua/Jesus is the Star of Hope,Rev 22:16! 🌟 He loves you so! ❤️🙏 Take care! ❤ 🇮🇱❤️🌍❤️

When Yeshua Jesus Christ told us through HIS disciples that He must leave but would send us a Comforter (His Holy Spirit), it seems to me that there would be an expectancy that The Holy Spirit comes to help us get through our earthly challenges and being silent or absent as soon as the Apostles died off would not benefit the Body independently or corporeal. Because what is the operations of a Holy Spirit that is no longer present?. It took me years to discover the Wonder working POWER OF Holy Spirit indwelling me.

You guys are both great and speak truth and honesty. Something society needs. Their messages individually are also great. However, whenever videos/messages are given together, Lisa’s constant interruptions is frustrating. Please let him speak. He always lets you speak and never interrupts you. Give him the same honor. When you interrupt him, you’re also interrupting the audience’s understanding of the message 😩

I agree. It seemed to me that John and Lisa had two different directions they wanted to go in sharing the information. Lisa seemed to be focused on laying a foundation regarding how to pray which would include the spiritual maturity level of all listeners and build from there, John seemed to begin sharing more spiritually mature content without the basic foundation which could confuse or alienate some viewers. This seemed to be a struggle during most of the video between John and Lisa. Lisa kept trying to simplify what John was saying while John continued on his intellectual teaching without understanding what Lisa was trying to accomplish.
@ByFaith12255 ай бұрын
Another observation I had regarding this video is that it seemed that John saw Lisa’s role in this discussion much how he utilizes Arden’s presence in the John Bevere podcast. She seemed to be seen as a sidekick much like Ed McMahon was on the old Johnny Carson show. I don’t think Lisa saw herself in that role but instead as an equal contributor to the conversation. It also appeared that the two had previously constructed notes to follow regarding how and when information would be shared. Lisa continued to refer to the notes in an attempt to get the conversation on track while John did not but instead spoke from his independent thought process. This seemed to frustrate Lisa throughout the video.

I noticed the interruptions, however I saw it more as excitement to share on prayer rather than two different directions. Either way, there’s so much to get from this!!!

I had a non serious conversation with God on a train, take note, just a conversation, a little chat, no faith in it at all. Here is the strange thing, He answered and I know He took joy in this conversation. I still don't know how to pray, but I know how to have a chat or a talk, God likes it.

Thank you for sharing that point at 32:41 “There is a spirit of heaviness - that’s when you want to binge watch TV, that’s when you want to go look in the fridgerator three times, that’s when you want to go to the pantry and try to find a snack, that’s when you want to go on social media…so you don’t have to deal with how oppressed you feel right now. Ok. We’re in a war. It is a war and the way we battle is through prayer.”

John and Lisa we realy love you and your work and I hope you receive this feedback the way I intended it, with love. This is an amazing message but it's a but difficult to watch and get the fullness of this message due to the interruptions in between. It seemed that you were teaching from different angles and therefore needed to bring one another back to the point. I love that you both had notes which shows the effort that went into this. But if delivering a message together may it please be coherent and have a flow. Love you guys❤

If this podcast is Conversations with John & Lisa Bevere then there needs to be agreement on the topic, content and that each person will be able to speak and allow opportunity for the other to reply as well. I am a great fan of both John and Lisa Bevere, but the lack of unity made it a difficult conversation to hear. It appeared to me that a rivalry was arising, there was little consideration to what the other person said, and one speaker just kept on talking and disregarded the other's point of view. Consequently, the subject of Praying the Right Way was not demonstrated, likely due to the strife of the conversation itself.

“Without man God won’t do” really resonated with me. I thought of where Abraham was saying “what if there are fifty righteous?” And they wager down to “for 10 I will not destroy” I saw that if nobody was praying and being with God there wouldn’t have been the desire to save. I never thought of this before. I really see prayer in a different light now. I think I thought too lightly of that relationship, because I believed God was there and wanted good but that my influence didn’t mean that much because he is all powerful and doesn’t need me. But he wants our relationship, and us to know Him and what He wants too.

Okay, please don't take this the wrong way, John and Lisa. But when I hear your conversation and some of the quirks and back-and-forth dynamics between you two, I think, "maybe it's not so bad with the way my wife and I relate after all." Often, I berate myself and feel horrible when my wife and I have an argument or miscommunication. We have had a lot of challenges in our 20-year marriage and would be divorced seven times over it weren't for the grace of God. We've made a commitment to each other and hung in there! We've gone through many trials, internal and external, and yet here we are. :) Lots of forgiveness needed and given on a regular basis. I realize that if these amazing people of God are not perfect (except by the blood of Christ) there is hope for all of us. God can work through us!! God bless you and your ministry. You had a great discussion that encourages me to pray more!

I've been sick, on and off, for over a month, now. It actually started shortly after I felt a call to go to Greece. I know I need to save money... not only for the trip, but because it's also been put on my heart to make sure all debts are paid before I go. I owe about 50k in debts, so I need to work, a lot! But this illness has been keeping me from work. But the worst thing is it's been causing a massive amount of brain fog. I find it hard to focus when trying to study... not just The Word, but also Greek. Even praise through music is very hard because I can't seem to focus properly. But I just went to bed. I woke up today and the Bible verse on my phone for 7/2/24 and it was Proverbs 18:1 so I immediately started prophecying I will have a vibrant and transformative prayer life. I was asking God the night before what am I not doing right. I felt lead to write that down as a Decree and Declaration and then this video pops up on my timeline! I knew instantly it was God! Lol I’m starting to see how things like this require obedience because had I not done those steps this video still would of popped up on my timeline but I would’ve never known it was God answering my prayer ❤ wow

@akosuashirley I get your point, sometimes Lisa intervenes when all we would like to hear is the end oh John's sentence or we would love to hear the rest of what he has to say... And I have to say I absolutely LOVE Lisa's teachings, so this is not against you personnally, Lisa. But I must say this is called "conversations" so obviously it can not be only one person talking... What's more, "with John AND Lisa", so I guess if you wanna hear only John talking on a subject you just need so do a little research and there's a ton of teachings available on numerous subjects by him on his own 😊

This is the sweetest comment I've ever seen on KZbin, I didn't sense even an ounce of malice or a hard heart. Such a sweet person, bless you. I'll add a few points. He also interrupts her, so like a few people above already commented, they are both Italian and it's common trait that you're raised with in these cultures, and it's also a podcast style conversation, so hopefully these points help us all to give so much grace to this darling and blessed couple. I'll also add that I myself truly struggle with interruption, as I also am from multiple Latin backgrounds including Spanish, Italian and middle eastern. So that means it's the only thing I saw growing up, unfortunately. My surrounding taught me that I'll never get heard or that my point is not valuable unless I raise my voice and interrupt. Now that I'm in a culture where this isn't common, it makes me cringe when I hear myself doing this again, but the more therapy i do, the more I understand that racing thoughts in adhd have a huge role to play. And so I just wanted to add that final point, that if we ever see this dynamic, to consider other reasons (neurodivergence, anxiety, cultural, etc). Not to suggest the original poster wasn't already extremely generous in her gentle approach and heart :)

This is so good, not only learning about the different kinds of prayer but also understanding why we need to pray. I don't believe things will happen or not happen if it's God's will but that sometimes "the kingdom of heaven suffers violence" and we have to pray something in. Back in the 60's the Christian Saints called it "praying through."
John and Lisa I tuned in to this segment of yours about are you praying correctly. I have been praying and believing that God would stop a lawsuit against my family that threatens to take away our home and ruin us financially and as of yet it is still threatening us. I said to the Lord I feel like you have to answer Father because your Word says that if an earthly father wouldn't give a stone to his child if he asks for bread, nor would you our righteous Father not give this good thing to us his child. My husband and I are retired andnhave spent our life's savings on this home and now in this our late years are faced with this scary prospect of losing all we have. Thank you for these videos you are doing on prayer, it is encouraging me, but I admit when the attorney's tell us all negative, I begin to waver, but I go right back in the Word and talk to Jesus and cry out to Him for guidance and a miracle , can you PLEASE respond to me with what the holy spirit may lead you to respond? Thank you and I pray God continues to bless and protect both of you in your ministry!! Rosanne, Lake City, Florida

John, you mentioning your knee was 💯 spirit led. My husband just injured his knee last week and has been off work. This was so encouraging to hear and spoke right to my heart. Thank you both of you - really valued both the dialogues ❤ The evidence is clear - you’re both blessed with God’s spirit and He is working all things for good through you. Your teachings have been so edifying for us. Thank you. Messenger X is wonderful and adding captions for the deaf would be a great improvement. Blessings to you ❤

I remember when I moved to Central Florida,( Hernando county) I joined a church in there, Church of God the requirement to be a member of the church the pastor was A very wise men, he asked us to read he want to make sure that we had a good start, wanted us to be cleansed from old baggages that we bring from everywhere and we pick up here there and we don't even know we're carrying it it, he didn't want us to bring that to the church recommend for us to be under this different teachings I'm very thankful that he chose you to be one of the 10 things we have to accomplish like reading your books

I absolutely love this! I am newer in my faith. came out of the New Age one year ago. I absolutely know how real the spiritual realm is! I feel like I struggle so much with prayer! I just never exactly know what to say besides thanking God a million times a day! I absolutely know how real the spiritual realm is and know my authority but sometimes struggle articulating it aloud.

Hallelujah! I love this podcast so relatable! Can I just say I am a blue-eyed Susie q??!! From Ontario, Cajada! Seriously! We've been so blessed by the books "awe of God" we've gone through the study with groups in the upper room of our Dairy barn and are about to start another in K-W 35 minutes away. Giving the Lord the honor that is due him and revering him being in awe of him has changed my life. I have tried to figure out why one day for me, I feel so filled with the holy Spirit and feel his presence so strong no matter what circumstances arise and then the next day can be so very different!! Your example of rising early in prayer and running to the Lord's presence inspired me as my prayer in the mornings is Rich but can be a sleepy one. Thank you for your example and the materials on messenger X !! The Lord is doing amazing things and I'm so encouraged by answers to prayer and the things He whispers of what is to come! Hallelujah!! Thank you Jesus. Thank you Father. Thank you holy Spirit!!

Perfect topic. I prayed for guidance towards learning how to pray the right way. My prayers were answered. Thank you O Lord, thank you Jesus, thank you Holy Spirit and thank you guys. My thoughts on this episode is there was too much interruption on Lisa’s part. I pray for an improvement on the quality of communication in the future. I appreciate you 🙏🏽

Thank you for breaking down the different types of prayers, when they should be activated and what can hinder our prayers from being answered (not being rightly related with God and others due to active sin we haven't repented of)🙏🏾🙏🏾

Thank you so much for your excellent podcast. I battle with prayer, even though I have faith I feel I am not getting through to God. I was a Catholic and we were not encouraged to pray from the heart only reciting the Our Father or rosary or to saints. I certainly will be tuning in to your podcasts from now on. Blessings from South Africa. 🙌🙌🙌🇿🇦

I was never interested in listening to the Beveres but listened to John on another platform. I was drawn to check the Beveres out because I saw authenticity, sincerity, humility, and vulnerability in John. I just finished listening to two of the Beveres you tube videos and enjoyed it immensely. 36:27

I really appreciate what you guys do, and how you rightly divide the word of Truth, I've read quite a few of Lisa's books, and I'm always really encouraged! This has been really helpful, I would like maybe even a whole podcast on how to battle in family issues: My ex has said some untrue things in court and has our younger two kids at his place despite his drinking and not eating, and He's talked my older three children out of their Faith, to the point where my 23-year-old is a practicing witch and calls herself trans. Even though she's the most feminine thing I've ever seen. I have been praying and proclaiming scripture, and casting my cares on the Lord, and it's been 4 years. I know God has amazing plans for our family, and I am just going to keep standing, but I really would like to know that I'm doing this right. Thanks guys!
