I got so tired of going to church and not experiencing the presence of the Lord. I was so hungry for intimacy with the Lord that I started waiting on the Lord. I sat for 2 hours waiting on the Lord focusing on Jesus. Then, I experience the tangible presence of the Lord, which changed me forever. It was this experience and the fear of the Lord that cause me to have a vision of what Christ went through on the cross to purchase me. His love continues to draw me into the secret place. The fear of the Lord keeps me pusuing Jesus as I fear missing the Lord. I have seen Jesus face to face. Nothing is more satisfying than spending time in his presence. I am tired of the religious church but I can't get enough of Jesus crying out to Jesus to change me to be like him. Dying to self daily.

You're right he does help us, and if we truly receive the help we will eventually stop doing what he is helping us with. He isn't coming back for a lukewarm bride. Please know that as a believer the Holy Spirit always lives within you, whether you "feel" His presence or not. Through the presence of the Holy Spirit, the Father and the Son indwell the believer. I don't believe the Bible calls us to "experience" God, but to "know" Him. We can only know him through His words - the Bible. Read the Word (avoid translations that change and add, like The Message, The Passion, The Living Bible is quite a bit loose with the translation, and The Amplified Bible adds to scripture.) Emotional experiences can be counterfeit, manipulated by Satan - true knowledge of God is only from the Word. The Word is living, powerful, sharp, dividing truth from lies, light from darkness. 💛

I agree with you on why so many have walked away from the faith, but a huge factor is that kids middle school and up are not being taught apologetics so they don’t know how to defend their faith or the Bible when they do get the college. Another thing that would really really help it preachers would get courageous and preach the whole Bible, especially Bible prophecy, considering the times were living in and the fear that people have right now, I cannot believe the pastors across America and the world are not preaching Bible prophecy at all

There’s freedom in Jesus Christ. Even as we are faced with our toughest battles. I’m a single mom raising my two children with special needs. I’m overwhelmed at times because they are all I have. I recently started homeschooling my sons because they were having so many issues in school including bullying. So my hours to work are limited. Every month I’m struggling, struggling to pay rent, struggling buying groceries, struggling to do it all. Yet God gives me strength. He will provide I have faith.

My marriage (after 8 years and divorced) was restored because our dear Lord, through the Holy Spirit, taught me about Covenant marriage and "standing in the gap" even before He sent me to Rejoice Ministries where I learned so many Scriptural Principles which I was never taught before....the Biblical Truth about Covenant marriaget is not too popular a subject. You can go on KZbin and pull up Bob and Charlyne's testimony, among others. I was priviledged to know them both (Bob is now deceases). It is all Biblically based, and, of course, our Lord Jesus are Key to everything. There is also a ministry on Covenant marriage preached by Pastor Joseph Webb (deceased now a few years), but he has teachings on KZbin and wrote two books on the marriage Covenant, my favorite being "Divorce and Remarriage, the Trojan Horse within the Church"...CPR Ministries. I had the privilege of speaking with him a few times a few years back. You can also look up Pastor David Pawson from England who also taught the Biblical "Truth" regarding Covenant marriage. I believe that Jesus has told us the first step. Jesus said, You must be born again. John 3:3-8. "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of flesh is flesh, and that which is born of Spirit is spirit." Verses 3:5-6. Born again is regeneration. Noah Webster 1828 Dictionary online. 'Regeneration means; Reproduction, the act of producing anew. In theology, New birth by the grace of God, that change by which the will and natural enmity of man to God and his law are subdued, and a principle of supreme love to God and his law, or holy affections, are implanted in the heart.' Implanted. Humbling isn't it. We cannot do that. So who does God look to? the humble and contrite ones. Psalm 34:18 and Isaiah 57:15. Ask God to send the Holy Spirit to you, Luke 11:13. He will bring your sins to mind. As he does ask Jesus to forgive you. This will be painful, PRIDE HATES IT. When you see your desperate need (Jeremish 17:9) for a Saviour, call out to Jesus to save you. He came to save sinners. Then do as the risen Jesus commanded, be baptized. Matthew 28:18-20, in the water of repentance Mark 1:1-5, Matthew 3:6. Calling on the name of the Lord, Romans 10:9-13. How? As Peter preached Acts 2:21, 38 and as Paul did, Acts 22:16, Acts 19:1-5. Think on Mark 16:16, 2 Peter 3:9, Romans 6:3-11, 1 Corinthians 12:13 and Colossians 2:6-15. When He has regenerated you, you will desire Him. Read His inspired word, the Authorized Version, the King James Bible. The Spirit of truth will lead you into all truth. His word strengthens, washes (as does His powerful blood). So true!!! I first experienced the true Presence of God, long before professing faith in Christ. Later, my sisters ushered me into the manifest Presence of the Almighty, when I was still young in Christ. Those experiences keep me in “the faith”, when others would have left, a longtime ago, after suffering all of the demonic attacks that I have, since my initial profession of faith in JESUS Christ.

Two times in my life, well, three, I have been in the physical presence of the Lord. All of them were unscripted and I was at my worst each time, but each time I was desperately seeking Him. There have been other times, like right now, that I am desperately seeking Him and it's silence.and I repeat back to the Lord He is real, He has met me before. That's why I hang on and it's getting tougher to hang on. I agree with seeking a purity in this life, not chasing after the things of the flesh because that's death and I want life.

That’s exactly right. I believe that what you were saying is so true. I am a Christian and have been on the way for 63 years and I’ve had my protocol experiences deep down deep down. I had an initial born again experience of knowing Jesus Christ is my saviour and even though I ended into the wilderness and lost my way due to a lot of things that are not with at this point even discussing I could never ever walk away because you can’t walk away from something so transformational you’ll never be the same. Help. I have been seeking Gods presence since I was in my late 20s. It has been my greatest desire - I have prayed for it. I am even today daily seeking Him in His word in the morning. Living in obedience, pursuing holiness… I examine my life… I want all known sin and pride out. I beg and cry to God - please let me experience You. For years I questioned my salvation - how could it be that God passed me by, never stirring my soul. I sought help in tears from pastors. I am 55. I am still starving for this experience that others speak of. These kinds of sermons make me long for His presence and wondering why I am left hungry. I’ve tried to be content - just to enjoy the Bible and Christian fellowship. 😢 help?

I’ve hated injustice all my life. To me, to make the sinful choice is to choose to be unjust, to practice injustice. So when confronted with temptation or the opportunity to make a sinful choice, to my way of thinking it has been a choice to practice either justice or injustice. Choosing justice has been the end, the goal for me. John Bevere’s message really helped clarify, and bring into focus for me, the greater goal, which is the cry of my heart, to see God. So choosing justice is not the end in itself, for as an end, it is so easy to get offended when others do not practice justice, particularly those who SHOULD choose justice. While choosing justice is always the right decision, it is not the end unto itself, rather, it is part of the process of the great goal of my life, seeing God. This message has helped me in this way. Viewing justice (holiness) in this manner helps me to put down the “pointing of the finger” (Isa. 58) and focus on seeing God as my goal.
