Thank you both for the job you do. You are such a blessing to everyone. I know God still does miracles. My wife was diagnosed with terminal bone cancer that was untreatable, according to the doctor. When he asked her if she wanted to know how long she had, she told him he couldn't tell her because it was up to God how long she would live. She was later prayed for and completely healed. That was 40 years ago

I'm so happy you guys speak about this topic that is missing in many of the churches today (not in ours, thanks to God) I had prayed for people many times and not seen any changes (just a handful of times) at the moment or heard anything about it later. I do struggle with that, I think that knowing that God did it will increase my faith. (I hope you understand what I'm trying to express)

John, in this video you mentioned that you believe you have been given the gift of healing backs through the Holy Spirit. I have two prayer requests please. With faith, I ask that you would please pray for my father as he faces a back surgery soon due to a compressed spine. Also, if you would, please pray for myself and the healing of my spinal cord. I broke my back when I was 17 years old, and am suffering with paralysis. I believe God is still the God of miracles and I need His supernatural healing in my body. I am a mother to two young children and I have been listening to you and your wife’s teachings for a few years now and need to thank you both for your wonderful words of wisdom you share with us and for the guidance you have both given me. Hello Lisa, My name is Anisa! I was at the inspire woman’s gathering April 19-20th 2024. It was so touching I met you and you prayed over me & signed my books. I wanted to tell you when you said if your here tonight and you want to be born again something in me made me raise my hand. Before you counted to 3. I had my eyes closed and assumed this was a group thing and I opened my eyes and realized it was only me! I had my phone recording your message and I even have the prayer you said over me. When I came up we prayed for another woman then I waited god had been teaching me patience that week I felt so at peace, the woman I came with had been a pastor of 42 years and she said no one came to you so I sat and prayed and felt called to come help you. She helped me to be born again. After the prayer I heard my father say, I am so proud of you mija. He died 6-15-22. I saw him Jesus and my sister who passed 8-4-22 at 23. I saw them in a cloud w/ Jesus happy! We left and I told Wendy when she approached me I heard “god mother” many divine encounters happened that night & the next day. She guided me like a mother and took me under her wing like you said didn’t ever pull rank but instead led me. During communion the next day 4-20-24 session 3 a pastor said spend 1 min w/ Jesus ask him to show you what he needs to show you - I see Jesus holding a sword he slayed a dragon then hands me the sword it’s glowing with light & my hand and body light up. Then we meet a girl who has your book - girls with swords 🗡️ I ordered it thank you Lisa and John! For working for god and changing peoples lives I will never forget being prayed over by you and being born out of a kingdom of darkness and into a kingdom of Light! ❤ forever in my prayers thank you

John and Lisa, fantastic conversation! So honored to have been able to meet you at the Gateway Marriage conference this past October. I was just praying about and working on writing something for my wife about her spiritual gifts so this conversation couldn't be more timely! You shared during the conversation John's gift of faith and Lisa's gift of healing so I'm going to be bold and put this out there. My wife Meghan and I have 3 beautiful children. We are so blessed to have them and grateful. However, we have a desire to have another child and about 2 years ago Meghan suffered an injury to her back from which she hasn't fully recovered (specifically still has some tinnitus). She has concerns over her health and not physically being able to carry another baby to term. Since John you've prayed over people's backs and they've been healed and Lisa you've prayed for ladies to become pregnant, would you both pray for my wife? We're so grateful for your ministry, how you pour into the body of Christ to equip the saints and also for the gift your marriage is to this world. When it comes to referring to HOLY SPIRT I agree 💯. To take that to another level what if we referred to him as “Holy spirit” not “The Holy Spirit” because I wouldn’t refer to you as “The John” I would just say “John.”

Thank you- I’m teaching this in my women grps now! I hav a ques: I disciple genz & hav genz kids that I teach - many young ladies are very disheartened by the habitual sin patterns in pornography of their bros in Christ- saying “you don’t understand this is difficult in the age we live” I do not believe that - I know men who are empowered by the Holy Spirit that do not struggle in this area I myself had an addiction that God totally set me free of so I do not believe that we will continually to struggle in sin cycles I believe God can set us free but it takes believing & knowing how to ‘tap into’ the power of the Holy Spirit, confessing one to another(James 5:16) - you cannot be healed without being in authentic community…and some practical steps. And becoming so intimate with Jesus/the HS that you are to ‘scared’ to hav ANYTHING especially sin come in between you & Him! Are so many men struggling with pornography bc they don’t know how to ‘tap into’ the power of the Holy Ghost AND they don’t live in authentic community or have an intimate relationship with Jesus/HS?

My struggle is to see people that don't even believe in God, getting the blessings I pray for. I see the supernatural happening but against me. The last three spiritual attacks against me I lost. No supernatural help, no protection, not even an encouragement. I've been serving the Lord since I was 14, always in church, always helping. I never took off in my career and all my non-Christian friends are doing very well. I've been praying for a wife for 30 years. I was never even close of getting married. For people like me a miracle is even to get a friend, find a wife or getting a big advance in my career. Things that should be almost natural for me would be a miracle. I just feel that there is something wrong.

Dear @airplane800 I pray for the gift of joy and love for you, count the miracles in your life.. you breath, you have food every now and then and then you have accepted Jesus into your heart and you will live forever.. the moment you truly love like He loves us then everything will come your way.. don’t envy those who seem to have more than you, if they don’t have Christ they are only going to live a short time before they have to give account or their lives. Love the Lord with all your might and He will give you the desires or your heart in due time. Cheer up and praise the Lord!! Love you!

I believe that when the atheists talk about christian values and ideals and standards and principles but they don't include Christ, they diminish who and what he is. Because He is so much more. He is creativity and variety and he is also practicality. I have experienced God helping me with practical things so many times. He has helped and inspired me in my kitchen, in my sewing, in my knitting, in ballet class, he has helped me find things i couldn't find on my own no matter how much i looked.

This was such a refreshing conversation for me. I was convicted when John shared that the Holy Spirit is “HE” and not “It”. This is something I believe a lot of us know but don’t think about critically. There’s such a difference between thinking of His personhood vs Him being a “thing” - for lack of a better term. This has added a new layer to my faith and my interactions with Him. Thank you for this lesson. There are a lot of children out there that need good parents. Maybe God chose to make some people stewards of children that don't have their own children. If God doesn't give you a miracle, maybe it's because your are God's miracle for someone else.

The gifts of Spirit such as “gifts of healings” operate as God’s will. Some are healed as some are not because it’s according to the will of God.

@@shareejacobs4509 God is the one who does the healing, not the one praying. It is up to God whether He says "yes", "no", or "not right now" to our prayers. I've seen a lot of people healed and a lot of people not healed when praying for sick people. I just pray and leave the rest to God. Preachers that teach it God's will to always heal are not in touch with reality because many Christians have died while believing for healing. I pray for the sick a lot and have noticed more of the unsaved healed and I believe because it's a powerful way to evangelize.

I saw a precher that was born with no arms and no legs. He is a very joyful man. He said of God hasnt given you a miracle its because you are Gods miracle for someone else. I think its a bigger honnor for God to entrust you to be his miracle for someone else who's heart is too sick to believe in God with out one.
