I embroidered a pair of monochrome white hightop for my wedding! I had blue butterfly wings closer to the back of the ankle and gold beading around the seal!! they took me a whole 6 months, and I had to cut the heel out.

What if you use a waterproofing shoe spray before dipping to stop the colours soaking/bleeding? Might not be a separate layer on top of the shoe which can peel off then? The editing is awesome 🤪

You can try putting mirror under or at the bottom of the tank to help you see the underside of film and where to line it up
