An upcycling series would be super rad. Maybe you could try and add on to a thrift store sculpture next.

I didn't even think about sculpture! that would be awesome:)
@Widdekuu915 жыл бұрын
I've repainted a sculpture once (a really stupid, small-eyed cat with a huge nose) and turned it into a glamourous big-eyedDay-of-The-Dead-Kitty with roses and a little skull-collar-charm. My ex came up with the idea to have a competition (he upcycled a chinese burning-candle-light-thing into a neongreen designer-oil-burner) and whoever sold it the quickest and for the highest amount, would win. I bought my Kitty for 80 cents and sold it for 12 (quite cheaply, but still) and he bought his oil-burning-thing for 1 euro and hasn't sold it. I've re-painted a lot more boring statues and sold them, it's a lot of fun. (My only weakness is that I always come up with small prices, I should ask more.)

@@sumdude2999 as someone who does needle point, I can say for many people we embroider or cross stitch to decompress but also hoping that someone will enjoy it. But the truth of the matter is that many people these days don't want needle point as a framed gift, so seeing him adding to it, enjoying it and using it as a giant jacket patch is great. It's beautifully vintage but also modern and cheeky.

Jep it's because of his upload frequencie, I never understood how he has so little subs, but ok, 330k aren't that little anymore. Still kinda little for what he is and does and the quality and time he puts into those things but that's just KZbins fault because of the algorithm I started to watch him under 10k and over 300k growth in 2 years is awesome, he's a unique creator and artist and his projects aren't really for the "mainstream" other like some 500 tea or reddit channels who generat 500k in the first year for no real reason, so maybe this plus the algorithm just give him an really unfriendly basis to grow on KZbin?
