Converting the pointing hand to a sword arm is a good idea. It’s more compatible with other marine weapons than the big gauntlets the assault interceptors where

You need to do a vs. Video with Pete the wargamer. Do a poll to vote on the thing to convert and then both do a version of it. It would be a great way to bring more viewers to your chanel. I've been really impressed with what I've seen

Not sure I'm important enough for Pete to even realise I exist at this point. The series was very much in response to his 5 ways to convert series, as I needed something to do during lockdown last year and I've always loved converting models.

@@TheCockedDice all I know mate is your videos are top tier. Unfortunately for my wallet, I made a splurge on ebay bits today after watching the chief apothecary video. If he doesn't know you, he soon will haha Would love to see some large vehicle conversions also if you get a chance

Hah, I think i spend more on bits than actual minis these days, just about to do another splurge for the next round of conversions as I tend to plan half a dozen or so at a time. Vehicle conversions wise I doubt I'll tackle anything overly expensive simple as most of this is funded by me, so unless it's for one of my own armies I tend to keep them pretty cheap. That being said I've a guard army I'm planning later in the year and will be doing a series of how to videos for that covering everything from camo to modelling stowage and giving your vehicles personality

Well here you are, came together reasonably well, I've had the cold one knight antenna bits in a little baggie for months waiting for some inspiration to hit.

segmented armor paneling just looks hella cool, looks very samurai like! although one small nitpick is prolly the gaps to the side of the collar and the added on chest armor looks a bit odd with the sudden dip, maybe some green stuff to level the holes out or fill them in a bit could help make it look like the extra armor is properly attached to the chest? other than that it's a very cool yet simple-ish conversion! also looking at the mini further it's almost looking like a Gue'Ron'Vesa/Tau space marine! something for a future conversion maybe?

Cheers dude, I agree, didn't look too bad before it was painted but it does leap out a bit as stuck on, I suspect shaving the chest down a little further and thinning it out would help then a little green stuff shaping around the neck and chest to blend it would solve that. Seems to be a bit of a trend of tau space marines going around, may do one. It honestly depends on where the mood takes me some nights.

The green is waaagh flesh, washed with army painter string tone, edge highlighted with loren forest and then straken green. Yellow is balor brown, glazed with 4-5 layers or yriel yellow and an edge of phanlax yellow
