Random fact: the term white knight and black knight come from the Templar Knights and Hospitaller Knights (respectively). Amusingly in media white knight has become synonymous with a heroic knight, whilst black knight has become synonymous with a villainous knight. Yet the Templar’s were destroyed for supposedly worshipping Baphomet. Whilst the Hospitallers (who are still around to this day) had always provided medical and food aid, as well as a place to rest for travellers wherever they went. So much so that the “Hospitals” they would setup became the default term for a place of healing, a term we still use today.

It's a strange thing how terms such as these get embedded into popular culture and the concepts expanded upon with further stories.

Another great video. Love the paint job. Nearly bought the cherub myself this morning

Cheers man, the cherub is where this one started, I was just painting some sisters of battle ones and realised the wings would probably fit on a marine helmet

Another great conversion, that leg looks awesome. I do like your conversions as they seem achievable to your average hobby fan. Great job.

I do aim for that sort of level, try not to introduce too many techniques at once and keep the greenstuff work to gap filling and basic sculpting rather than anything too complex.

So the Black Knights are a homebrew chapter, right? That's pretty cool. Doing some conversations of some unique and interesting fan creations would be a neat direction for the series to go in.

Totally missed that they were homebrew, lore and concept looked good and someone asked about them so I made em. I'm certainly open to most ideas, as long as its in keeping with the 40k universe.

Neither was I until someone suggested it, I was flicking through my bitz box as you do and the parts just seemed to leap out as did some of the techniques I wanted to use.
