I have converted through Yeshua and Mikva quite a few years ago, even though we only knew christianity and have Jewish blood. My parents and brothers also did. It's taken time to undo the lies we were taught, but has been such a blessing as a family. Most of my friends would be Christian. We refuse to continue the lie and call the name JC, or go to Sunday worship. People can see the truth when we refuse to continue the big fat lie. Both my parents have hebrew blood, but so much was hidden for so long. We're all still learning, and you're right Christianity has been a great deception. I enjoy learning. Thank you brother, I really enjoyed this The Father has been calling me and my family to be closer to Him and pulled us out of the Christian Church we study Torah and learning all His ways . He took me in at around 5 years old when I asked Him to be my Dad for mine was a wicked one I truly love His son Yeshua is amazing I love Israel what an amazing people. My wife one day entered her prayer closet had a talk with Elohim came out a different person long dresses and head coverings. I can’t wait to see what is next. Plus I really love your message because I read the Bible and I come out with a different story there was no change really except Elohim filled some of the things He said He was going to do. We see in Isaiah 24 the world did not convert to His laws and He wipes out almost everyone. Yeshua warned us repent or die

I’m in California and stopped going to a Messianic Synagogue around 2018-19 because they teach bilateral ecclesiology or as they say it “one faith, two expressions”. Is there a synagogue in California you suggest for conversions? When I looked into the synagogues over here I have to denounce Yeshua, who is the reason I want to convert. As Yeshua said, Matthew 10:24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. Matthew 10:25a It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. Living by the beach, i did my own version of a mikvah/baptism in the ocean around 2019 where I committed my life to following His Torah but I would still like to do a more traditional one to show my commitment to others.

How would one convert if he lived in the remote rural mid-west hours from a synagogue let alone an enlightened synagogue that held the testimony of Yeshua? Would it be best to seek online connections, remote mentorship, etc ?

Shalom Shira. Do we sometimes encounter bigotry from other Jews because we believe that Yeshua is the Messiah? Yes, sometimes. But we tend to shrug it off. That typically comes from a psychological issues of one not being secure in their faith. As for “Yeshua” not being a name….that is not correct at all. There are several people named “Yeshua”In the Talmud. Moreover, the common way to speak of Joshua in Hebrew is to simply say “Yeshua” (Joshua being the English translation of that name). Messianic congregations are churches with jewish themes. They sometimes have ethnically jewish leaders. They do not believe in Torah and they do not practice Judaism. We are Torah-true Jews who believe in Yeshua. We practice Judaism

@taracollins326 I know it’s shocking but it is true. Messianic Jews do not practice Judaism. They don’t eat kosher, wrap tefillin, wear tzitzit, or even observe the moedim on the proper days. They don’t have Bris Milah, they don’t separate, they don’t practice family purity, none of them have a kosher Mikvah. I am not aware of any messianic people who buy kosher certified meat…or anything else. And a host of other things. If you feel that your congregation (or one you know of) is an exception please let us know and we will investigate. A few have done so in the past only to be disappointed. It’s the messianic world view. They don’t believe in actually following Torah-true Judaism.

We are well familiar with that group. They consists of two or three families led by a female as the “rabbi”. She and her husband attended here back in 2015-2016. They went off to start their own thing in their living room and I’ve been there ever since. They are very messianic. And no, they do not offer conversions. Again we know them very well. They don’t a kosher mikvah etc. nor do they follow actual Halacha.

There is only one covenant. There has always been only one covenant. The "new" is actually "renewed" in Hebrew. In fact, there is nothing "new" in the "new" testament. As for circumcision, medical circumcision has no spiritual meaning.

Shalom Wayne. We believe in Yeshua Who is the Divine Messiah of the Gospels. He is our atonement. He was and is a Jew and He led His followers to practice the Law of Moses…as He Himself did. You are correct. “Jesus”’is not His Name. In fact, the name “jesus” is literally less than 400 years old. It was created in the 1500’s. Yeshua is English is “Joshua”.

@@LapidJudaism thank you for replying. I appreciate it. I guess you don't follow Paul's writings. Yes The Messiah did follow perfectly the law of Moses. In the book of acts the Apostles said we don't command the gentiles to keep the law of Moses and burden them. I been listening to videos from Jewish rabbis on weither Jesus was the Messiah or not. It's important to know how the Jewish leadership feel about this. I don't feel I should follow the law of Moses. I do respect it. But being a gentle I am in Christ through faith. I do believe I am under Christ and obey the Messiah. Blessings to you brother.

It’s a result of 2,000 years of errant teaching, misunderstanding, and elevating Paul’s letters above (that’s the reality) the Bible and even the gospels. Not because you misunderstand it (as many do), but because I've watched Messianic Jews AND Christian pastors twist this one chapter to fit a narrative that isn't there. Many simply stop at verse 20. Go one more verse to 21: Therefore it is my judgment that we do not trouble those who are turning to God from among the Gentiles, 20 but that we write to them that they abstain from [j]things contaminated by idols and from fornication and from what is strangled and from blood. 21 For Moses from ancient generations has in every city those who preach him, since [k]he is read in the synagogues every Sabbath.” They are LEARNING from the Torah EVERY Sabbath in the synagogue right alongside their brother Judah. Which means they are learning to practice and follow the Torah. Also, once they accepted Yeshua they began the understanding of the commandments. Most will completely ignore that everything they should "abstain" from is in the Torah. Please note, that you are no longer "Gentile" when you come to the fullness of Torah through our Messiah Yeshua. You are Israel.

Yeshua set people free from the oral law not the law given to Moses. When you are baptized in the name of Yeshua you receive the Helper (Holy Spirit) and the Commandments are written on your heart. Saying a person needs to be circumcised before they can learn about God is wrong let the spirit convict them as they learn what Moses taught. All of these rituals about what you should wear and how you should put it on and washing your hands with a special ritual are adding to the Torah which is totally wrong. You are swapping one religion for another. All religion is messed up, nicolaitan orders, made by men. Follow Yeshua not men.
