Agreed, the more free and less constricted nature of this channel is everything I wanted warhammer tv to be. Keep up the good work :)
@petrinafilip964 жыл бұрын
@@brandonwestfall3241 Sadly, WH TV is limited by the "bottom line", explaining how to kitbash, improvise, use green stuff or any 3rd party stuff will have a negative effect on their profits. So they would literally be creating content that makes them lose money.
@PavelThorsonos4 жыл бұрын
@@petrinafilip96 I mean, they *have* videos on greenstuff and kitbashing. Then again, people buying greenstuff and more kits than usually needed isn't necessarily *bad* for the bottom line.
@nicolastousignant91604 жыл бұрын
@@petrinafilip96 honestly i can't see kitbashing as GW loosing money. If anything they make more as people buy extra kits to get specific bits. As an example, my intercessors are a fusion of mkIII and intercessor kits. I plan on making agressors by merging that kit with terminators. That some plasticard rod from another companie was involved in making bionics really has no negative impact on gws bottom line

I'd helped a friend get a trainyard battlefield together a couple years ago, main thing was waiting for after Christmas when a lot of the toy trains in shops go on sale and start with them, then dig into the bits box to convert them into the setting. It also gives a bunch of easily painted and adjusted tracks to lay out. He was working on it for a steampunk skirmish game, can't remember which one, but the entire thing was pretty cool looking in the end.
@DuncanRhodesDRPA4 жыл бұрын
That sounds pretty awesome
@AzraelThanatos4 жыл бұрын
@@DuncanRhodesDRPA For an objective thats fun to paint up, there is also the railway gun model that Reaper has, I think they worked with Victoria Minis to design it, but things like that are great ways to expand it. And railways are pretty much instant ways to set a scene for some of the more bare board options. A desert board with only a crossing railroad can be built up for a whole lot of different settings without issue...I'd done that with some tracks I'd gotten from a garage sale back when there was a GorkaMorka group starting out and worked well there just to add to the feel of it...and it's worked for westerns, modern, some fantasy, futuristic, and more because it's relatively generic.

You can use toothpaste to get stubborn paint out of old brushes. Put the same amount as you'd use on your teeth into your hand, run it through the brush, etc. I've used it on my brushes a fair amount with no sign of damage, and it helped them return to a nice point. Plus - minty-fresh painting.
