@spartan5566 mostly it's just a name change because of legal issues, but the TiPX can also be known as the updated version of the TPX, the TiPX has all of the up-to-date fixes and parts inside along with the new 7 round "try-feed" mags.

@ModernIntel When you're speaking CQB what is the distance range your speaking to? I've been hit at less then 10 feet (in the back) with a normal .68 paintball and it hurt a lot (more then all the other shot I've received before). A FS shot is harder then a .68 paintball so I wonder if it's really safe in CQB situations; even more then you need to think that a FS normally increase the FPS by +/- 40 (in a Tiberius at least)... That's something to take in consideration.

@NivisTigridis Ya I totally agree with you, although a FS round does not increase FPS by 40, it's about 15-20 FPS increase. Anyways, the rule in most fields such as CQB in Toronto Ontario is that you can only use FS rounds from the half line so you never get any close hits. But doing long-range shooting with a pistol you will see dramatic improvements to your shots as well.

@allen7694 well regardless of the FS kit, the TiPX is still a TiPX. Overall comparison I would recommend the T8.1 for sure.

@ModernIntel Sure it increases accuracy overall, no doubt about that. But does it also increase accuracy significantly at 'short' distances (up to 60 feet)? I wouldn't use a pistol for longer distances in a normal situation (I know there are 'pistols only' events out there, but not many).

@ModernIntel On that level then I agree, still I'll use my B5 for CQB and use the Apex2 to take longer shot :) My Kingman Eraser will be to get closer. And here in Quebec (province) most field have ban FS when playing with Rentals... with good reason... Even in my Milsim group FS use is check, mainly that we don't use the "REC Freeze" command, but we don't shoot ourselves to close either.

@HectorTsolodimos well even regardless of use as a CQB marker or not, first strike increases accuracy overall. Especially for a pistol this can dramatically improve your shots.

you should compare gunhead/imagine reality adn tactical mod canadas blocks....ie best finish least likely to cause breaks etc...I'm not too impressed with tact mods internal breech feed

But you would you want to shoot first strike paintballs with a TPX? These handguns are meant for close combat, right? So whats the advantage? I can tell you at least one main disadvantage: it's expensive to use.
