The Long range kit comes with the tcr valve if you're looking for it. that's still available I believe

The long range kit is a dblock, factory bolt spring, non oring sealed fsr bolt and a 12rd magazine. No Tcr valve, it was never part of the long range kit. The Tcr valve has been discontinued. The only thing useful from the long range kit performance wise is the dblock and the magazine.

If you contact Tippmann you can send your TPX in and have it upgraded to pretty much the newest generation TIPX. They had a program sometime ago that they are still honouring. The TPX had some problems that were updated on later models but it doesn’t mean you will have those same problems. Also search “Tippmann TIPX manual pdf” and you will find free copies to download.

Thanks for the video! I was looking to get one of these, and just ordered one after watching this. Quick question... do I need to modify it to fire the solid .68 projectiles, or will it fire them right out of the box? I watched a few other of your videos after this one.. and subscribed. It will fire solid round projectiles right out of the box. If you want to shoot shaped projectiles you would need a “D” shaped breech block otherwise you are good to go 👍🏼

Sean my thinking is co2 comes out of pipe driving bolt (that is under spring tension) driving the bolt forward to connect with projectile!!! If correct? Then the vent holes in front of bolt had less of diameter to vent! Then bolt fire faster! Hitting projectile harder giving higher energy and velocity (maybe smaller washer in front of bolt)) hope I'm understanding now a little how this platform works?????? Just want to get over 50 joules and will be happy 😊 also really like the tube with twin co2 on piccy rail going straight to remote line and remote to 88g cartridge!!! Are those tubes for twin 12g or 88g connection available??? Been looking but don't even know correct name of these parts!!! Ha maybe should of got the FSC! But learnt lots watching your videos and quiet thinking 😂 thanks Sean

Gains could be made by increasing the size of the ports on the bolt tip but you will likely weaken the bolt to failure as the firing pin attaches in this location.

Bypass and a good bore match are the only way to higher power on the stock valve without finding a Tcr valve.

Push button modded to take remote line????? Im capable of filling down the valve spool being a watch repairer!!! Think better off rather than transferring to US! From s knife shop/store????

@ufonaughts8814 if you got the tools and know how replicating a Tcr is quite doable with a dremel and steady hands. New complete Tcrs valves were around $75 new I believe.

@@garyduxbury8312silicone oil lubricates and protects the oring in your marker. Co2 is especially harsh on orings and failure to oil each cartridge can send them to an early grave. These are not just toys anymore once they are turned up.

Hey Shaun, can you adjust the velocity screw on the Tipx whilst it's pressurised with a pierced CO2 pierced, do you have to do the turns in-between CO2 cartridges?

You can but wont get an accurate representation of the increase until after a few shots and if you are using 12g co2 it gets even more out of whack….but yes you can.

So a thing is happening 😂 I'm getting so many shots out of the Tipx...and then nothing when I pull the trigger....but if I wait about 20-40 seconds (average) there's a 'click' sound, and I can get off 1-2 more shorts....then I have to wait for the 'click' again, but longer this time, and get another 1-2 shots...at which point I can finally turn the capsule lock screw and purge any remaining CO2....is this normal?? 😬 I will say those last 2-4 shots are low power, but I seem to have to go through this process before I can take the dam CO2 capsule out lol

@rustystyle thats normal. You are essentially out of co2. Waiting lets the last bit of remaining liquid to warm and expand to a pressure high enough to set the valve but the shots will be really weak.

TIPX is tried and true but the Tiberius (FS) lineup are definitely no slouch. Both are great paint launchers and LL with some tweaks. I still love the pull to pierce function of the TIPX more.

The FS pistols are really well built and have a good amount of aluminum construction compared to a Tipx but that does make them heavier. The older Fsc is far more upgradeable but lacks the quick puncture method of the Tipx. Now the new Fsc/Trp does change things up a bit with the push to puncture method.

If this launcher will be an emergency type use situation and if i was a patient man i would wait until the new generation Fsc is released or pick up a Tipx. If you are trying to build some high energy launcher for plinking the Fsc is the way to go. You know you will probably end up with both anyways 😆

Thats a loaded question….oh boy 🙄. Real LL designated launchers are generally advertised in the 25-30j range. Anything less then that with kinetics i think you should be aiming for the face. Pepper on the other hand requires much less output to be effective. A safer option in my opinion is 30-40ish.

I bought one - put a co2 in it - charged it.....leaked like a stuck pig. Adjusted the cap on the co2 - charged it....leaked like a stuck pig. Packaged up the POS they call a Tipx and sent it back...... everything gets it's ONE chance with me and this hunk of crap blew it !! There's no way in hell I'd ever recommend this useless launcher.

How hard is this thing supposed to be shooting at because I haven’t adjusted mine yet but I’m shooting threw plastic 5gal. 🪣 with regular paintballs I did extend the barrel but those things blasted right through no problem really caught me off guard and I got roughly 21to23 shots??

The question is how hard do you want it to shoot? Extending the barrel especially with co2 can boost velocity quite significantly even without adjust the actual velocity screw.
