Can u help with this. A house that has an attic living space and previously had a metal roof that leaked...4 years ago the roof was replaced and its water proof but when I opened up the sagging drywall I found moisture. This was in Jan and cold so no heat. What I'm wondering is if its sweat or trapped moisture and what's the cure. I already know when the Tennant's move out next month I'm tearing out all the drywall in the attic and spaying for mold and letting it dry with fans and dehumidifiers and heaters for a week but will this fix the problem? The drywall is fastened directly to the rafters with nailer strips and insulation directly on the sheeted roof. ??? I dont want this to sweat or be wet so any helpful advice appreciated
