Really good job, I have this type with TL494, I ask are the resistors on pin 1 and 4 of TL 494 connected to the minus pole or ground (black wire) ? After that completed is short circuit protection works normaly? I would charge car battery 55AH with max 5,5 Ampers. Thanks for answer!

if circuit protection is still active then you can be connected in series via a resistor 1-2 OMH 5-15w for charging batteries

i successfully modify my computer power supply but i am facing one problem when i connect power supply with battery(12 volt 80Ah) terminals (power supply positive red wire with battery positive and black wire with battery negative) fuse blows (which is connect with positive wire 13.4 volts). i tried 2amp, 5amp, 10amp and 15amp rating fuses. how to control charging current. i think there is no current limit in charging that's why fuse blows. thanks.

You can use a small round ferrite core, use 1mm copper wire wrapped on 2 or 3 mounting rings to reduce the number of Amp as you want.
