I downloaded the ROM files for my Note 8 from the links you provided. However, I open Odin and it can't find the ROM when you go inside the folders. There is no .tar file in it. The option 2 dl link points to OneUI. Are the downloads link the correct one?

I dont get it, i have followed the video from the start, downloaded the files, when it comes to Odin and selecting the files, none of the files are in tar format, they are zipped and in folders so when I click in odin I am taking into folder then another folder, I have tried downloading the files again and I have the same problem. None of the files are in the format they should be.

I'm curious in other countries outside of the US how many people are still using a flagship from more than a couple of years ago. I know in the US many of us are on carrier contracts with devices but other countries don't have the same luxury when it comes to device pricing.

I am having an issue where once I am done flashing the ROM and its time to reboot the system, it shows another dialog box saying that no OS is installed and continues to bootloop. So I haven't been able to use my S8+ for awhile now.

I tested Lineage 21 for a few days. The games ran smooth. But I missed every interface that Samsung provides. So I installed this OS from the video. Installation occurred without problems. I'll be using it in the next few days to see if it's okay. Thanks for the great video! Edit: Unfortunately the performance in some games has fallen from drastic fotma compared to Lineage 21. For example, Wuthering Waves is perfectly playable and now this untold is so-locked that it has stayed. As for overall performance, it is now stable. But at first I had a total braking that forced reinstallation to resolve. Now the problem is solved. I would just like a solution to improve performance in games.

Guys, does cellular internet work on note 8 with one ui 6.1 rom? In my case, I tried everything and can't get it to work with the internet. The phone becomes just a toy with no cellular internet, whatsapp doesnt work, so do the banking apps.

Hey there! Tested this rom on my Galaxy Note8 and lost almost all of the primary features. 1. Audio isn't working 2. Camera isn't also working (Even the pre-installed GCam, tho I haven't tried downloading an alternative) 3. Mobile data isn't available

It is quite possible that you may lose some functionality. But I can't say for sure, as I haven't tested it on S8 Plus myself. If you try, please leave your feedback so others can be aware of it.

yes it works. the samsung camera app is not there. however, there is a preinstalled google camera app which works fine. also, its not laggy at all
