Guys if you are having problems with wii backup manager not recognizing the iso or the bar stays in 100% and doesnt load it Simply run wii backup manager in compatibility mode in windows 7 that will fix the problem 🙌🏽

hey bro I'm having the same problem, it seems like wii backup manager is really fickle and crashes on me easily, fatal frame 4 at almost 4 gigs transferred ok but something smaller seems to be stuck

Hi you say it will take a couple of minutes when transferring to drive 2. just loading from drive 1 take upward to 10 minutes and when transferring to drive 2 it just gives up and strait up wont do it. it's at 0% the whole time and has nothing to offer when it comes to telling me what is currently happening. I've been looking up ways to fix this for hours but it seems to be no other alternatives. edit: the problem has resolved itself took me just under an hour for it to finish transferring.

what no one ever says is that its wbfs compression is not as good as some present it since each game will have 100mb or 400mb bigger file. Ex: tomb raider. Even with the loader it varies.

@@funkyscott47 true but its interesting how moat sites vary in size despite the same format. And the rare ones are in rvz which one would need dolphin to convert to iso then convert it to wbfs. Makes me wonder if the more compressed versions would fail in the middle of game. Thanks

Guys I was having so many issues with this program it would freeze my whole damn computer and take FOREVER to tranfer one file. DO NOT transfer directly to a USB Drive, it's too slow and lags the program. Transfer to your local drive first (like C:\), preferably with an SSD. This converts the files to the wbfs format, properly and quickly. Then you can use the regular File Explorer to move the wbfs folder over to the USB without any issues and freezing.

bit late, but use dolphin emulator to convert the files to .iso. from there, follow the video

Use Dolphin to convert RVZ files to .iso WinRAR won't help you at all, since it doesn't know what that file is at all

Yeah I don't know whats up, this isn't working for me. Wii Backup manager recognizes both the game and my HDD to transfer it to, I followed your steps, it starts the transfer process for about 45 seconds...then just stops. It doesn't move anything, it just does nothing.

You don't need wbfs. Dolphin works with it, but that's not the preferred format. Use .iso or .rvz for Dolphin. wbfs is really only for people using real Wii Consoles.

How big is that file? If it's over 4gb, it automatically splits it so it can fit onto a fat32 USB drive

@@funkyscott47 it's about 8 gb. I'm actually trying to inject the game using teconmoon wii vc to my wii u and tried to use the iso file. The problem was when i installed the game to my wii u it wrote over a super smash bros brawl wup i already had and when I booted up the game it froze on a black screen after the now loading message. I want to see if injecting a wbfs file instead of the iso can help with that.

@@funkyscott47 the way mine goes, Say i got Melee on ISO, I go to transfer it to a wbfs file and it says 100% completed but the only evidence i can find is a file thats an INFO file, but no actual rom, just the original raw ISO and the INFO file. and i even tried to do it using the CISO files and transferring to a USB instead of SD, and still didnt work.
