RVZ to WBFS for Nintendo Wii on Windows

Man i was really struggling and was really stressed about getting my games to work, just got the wii to remind me of my childhood and the games are really expensive in eastern europe cause everyone sells them as collection items.I wish all the good things to you because u helped me and many more.

@@driversks7216 sorry just seeing this now, so basically Nintendo made them get rid of a lot and I mean a lot of there Wii games. And vimms lair’s files are .7z files which would just automatically work in Wii back up manager. Pretty freaking scummy but I don’t expect any less from Nintendo lol

Wii backup manager doesn't load the wbfs file. When I download rvz files -> convert them to iso -> convert them to wbfs and add the file - then it isn't visible. The wbfs file shows up as blue on the right side of the program. Please help

would anyone know why homebrew isn't recognising the wbfs when after converting it? it's in the wbfs folder amongst other .wbfs files that are being recognised

Then you can use Wii Backup Manager or WBFS Manager to transfer and erase games from your USB storage.

as far as I know you just need to transfer to a external unit (flash drive or external HD), plug to the Wii and be happy

i had the same issue, ur pc/laplop probably doesnt have windows 11 or newest windows, so download a dolphin emulator from 2018

If your Operating system is older then Windows 10 this will not work, Dolphin works on Windows 10 and newer only.

when trying to install Dolphin, it gives me a 7z file instead of a .zip file, why is this??

I right clicked on the 7z file and clicked 7zip then extract all seemed to work for me

So actually if u have the .7z file it will just work in the backup manager. but u have to create a folder for that .7z file and put it in the folder then choose that folder and it will put the game in there. Hope this helps sorry if it doesn't make sense lmao
