In Australia the last 4 non Islamic prisoners wrote to the UN claiming cruel and unusual punishment. We have 1 supamax, 3,500 prisoners. ONLY FOUR weren't. And they were brutalized for it. Their food was contaminated, they were attacked, had urine and scalding oil thrown on them. It's not right.

Sam most lifers convert as you get way more if your muslim in jail. I've done it myself before because you get better food. Also in dispersals they took the friday association off everyone and used all the staff for movement for muslim prays. This was 15 year ago or somic. That was in full sutton and in franklin

It's always puzzled me, who gets to decide that a religious human right is greater than other human rights? Who exactly sets the rules where the human rights of the perpetrator is superior to the human rights of the victim? The Human Rights Acts need to be updated and amended to reflect the volatile and dangerous times we now live in, not just in prisons but for society as a whole. If a minority wishing to pray together so they can collude and conive affects the safety of the majority then the majorities rights should always come first.

My brother was in belmarsh 2001 and 2003, and he said that they were becoming a real force to be reckoned with and people converting for protection, etc, even back then! So, i am not surprised that they have so many numbers and power now in 2024 and beyond. 🤦‍♂️

brilliant sam, I was in h.m.p. garth in 05 06 07 08 n sam I remmember they shown sadam, hussaine. getting hung n I was on a spur n it was like Kingston town, trust me so I was approached loadsa times to look at converting, and they was using the hanging of sadam, as a starting point, like look what your government do, n sam thet hing that really took the piss was , the black puddings stoped, omg I know then the bacon, but no one really kicked off, I think cause when religious is concerned we just seam to shut up.

I have a brother in cat As and I’m not saying he’s been an angel but he converted as many do, but things went on that he didn’t agree with things he saw, He pulled away from Muslim culture in jail and since (years now) he’s spent most of not all of his time in solitary because of fear of “problems” it’s only getting worse !!!!

British prisons have got some very serious problems, overcrowding, too few staff,staff that are to be frank either badly trained or just of low quality,prison gangs and the drug trade(in there)its going the way of America if its not there already. As for rehabilitation and cutting the horrendous reoffending rate forget about it talk to anyone in the system and they'll laugh at you. Good show mate.

Mr S the prison staff have to take responsibility aswell for the failures of the prison system since 2000 (not that it ever worked before then) but you all were fully aware of the Muslim situation and did absolutely nothing, in fact yous pondered to them on every single thing they wanted. The staff in prisons since 2000 have been incompetent, ill trained and inexperienced. The ilk of the Mr McKay's on the wings has diminished, the staff are soft and easily manipulated. Our government, justice system, police are all either scared to admit there is a massive problem with Muslims in Britain or Muslims have too much power and say in our Government, justice system and our police. I would say it is now the latter, because it has been swept under the carpet and allowed to happen for decades now, they have got people into high positions in our systems and now it is too late. Unless we get someone in government that is so extreme and will tackle this head on and call it out for what it is then Britain will be an Islamic state same as any other weak European countries, thats allowed this to happen.
