Very good presentation indeed. Many more analyses need be done to compare the cost of new electric car, and getting the old car converted into electric. The quality of the chasis and body of the new electric car is expected to be inferior to the usual petrol car, to keep its weight light. On the other hand, the depreciated value of the old petrol car need be taken. Anyway, the companies are giving fresh options. It is upto the customers how they evaluate the economics of the two options.

May be around a year back , I had enquired about conversion of my Skoda Yeti but those days they were converting only Wagon R and other cars in its range. Are they now converting other bigger cars ? If affirmative pl. confirm. Thanx. Arun Kumar.

expensive, and poor range should be the reason. Your car will need entirely new design arrangement meaning money investment for them. They would do popular old cars that are light weight and small. Better try on ur own how to convert to electric but the costs can go anywhere and you need good knowlegde about car components. Else use ur car as long as you can.

5 lakh ki kit price, 5 years validity. again after 5 years you need to replace new Batteries and kit. Then why not continue with petrol 1 lac per year expense. In 5 lacs petrol expense, you can use 5 years. CARRY ON ..
