Use the automatic recording. Then use the recode into the same variable

I am experiencing an issue while doing this. for age, i have five categories. but the responses from the questionnaire do not contain the first category; that is, none of the respondents were aged 18 to 24 years. so at the end of this automatic recode, the spss is not coding for the first category. please help.

Try doing this. Fill in zeros in the column for Age 18-24 and resources the automatic recode. If you could do it, then you can send your data to me via [e-mail] for me to take a good look and fix the problem for you. Thank you.
