@@opossumgrylls3275I can only speak for the trucks in my company. But my boss has them well maintained and washed. Our station also does routinely inspections of the trucks too. Also FedEx drivers typically stay working for FedEx for a good while and have their own trucks unlike Amazon. Amazon always having people coming and going and many of them don’t ever seem to take care of their vehicle (Former Amazon driver) The less people driving the vehicle the better

Love the comment you made to "double or triple" your estimate of how long a project will take on an RV (or sailboat - we have done projects of all kinds on both). We initially say "This should be easy. Will take 1 or 2 hours to do." After 8 hours, including 3 trips to Home Depot or West Marine, and a cocktail or two (when done), we remember that we should know better!

This van obviously works for y'all, that's great. You're the second person today that I heard reference the Chinese heater. I've seen the cubic mini in a lot of builds, but you're the first person that talked about the cardboard logs. I had no idea they broke apart that easily. AND finally...lol...I've never heard of folks using an Instapot, but I guess it's a thing. Very cool. Safe travels and good business to you.

Solo female here, built out my Ram 2500 in 1.5 months. I have 750w solar 3Kw inverter and 500ah battery bank. Starlink, turlet, espresso maker, etc! You CAN do a build in a short time frame. Stressful as hell, but can be done!

Great Tiny-home! Mine was a 4x6 cargo trailer... Insta-pot sounds nice but I use my induction cooktop for everything(on a 750W inverter) which also runs a 5k BTU AC and 32"TV/entertainment ctr.

What I see is a heavy duty truck with a Heavy frame and possibilities of slides of at least 2 feet deep on either side . A couple of 8 ft long slides would increase the interior area by nearly 32 square ft floor space for other things . Opposing slides greatly opens up the room .

My 4bt cummins diesel stepvan tops out at 16-19mpg freeway, his is probably in the range of 14-16mpg freeway since his is a six cylinder and loaded heavier. City traffic jams you're closer to 8mpg. Any other engine and it will be far less.

It is very sad that Caza spent all that time and effort remodeling a Van that has extremely high mileage. This particular fedex Van is one of the the thousands that fedex has replaced the odometer and the 150,000 miles that were showing on the odometer when Caza purchased it is far from accurate. Take a good look at his instrument cluster and you'll see that his speedometer odometer is an aftermarket model that is explained in the ABC News stories that you can readily find on KZbin.

That 5.9 Cummins is a great engine. I’ve had 2 of them and my oldest one in a one ton I was 5 miles from 500,000 miles on it when I sold it. So as long as he does the service and repairs he has a great van.

Just revealed that FedEx rolled back their odometers 200k miles before auctioning them off. This van just lost 80% of its value. Class action lawsuits are coming but probably won’t cover the investment spent to convert it to campervan

When you are BEHIND the camera don't talk. Let the subject you are interviewing do the talking, You interrupt him constantly and cut of his flow of thought and ours too. Its very rude and disruptive. Stay in the background and let your subject shine. This is not a chat with a pal, its a van tour. Second point is - don't jerk the camera around, pan slowly and hold. We see something flash by and its gone from view before we had time to really see it. Poor camera technique. Third point is - Show the VAN, not the MAN. 85% of screen time should be on the van build, not fixed on a speaker. We can hear him, now show us van details. Don't showcase speaker or yourself. Pan camera on van and details while he is talking. This will make a better video. See how Tiny House Tours does it. Please keep music out of any tour. Its a turn off.
