Converting a 2nd Gen Dodge to LED Headlights/Taillights/Fog-lights (MUCH BRIGHTER)

Tired of dim lights on your 2nd gen Dodge Ram? Today we will be changing the headlights, taillights, and fog lights out with new lenses and add LED bulbs.

I wish someone who does these vids would actually slowly video the light from about 2 feet away so we could see how the fit is...side to side and also looking down to see if it sticks out the same...Also the led you bought will not give you the correct light for the lenses...you need the leds that look flat on both sides and have a band of leds usually 3 to mimick the light from a halogen bulb...The 9004 bulb is a high/low bulb so there would be 6 leds on each side 2 rows of 3 offset a little bit...also they should be able to be adjusted 360' to line up properly...9 and 3 o'clock position...this will give way better pattern and not blind the oncoming traffic...brighter also...Thanks for the vid and good luck...

Just got my 2000 second gen club cab back on the road after cab corners, lower door skin on passenger side, nice junk yard drivers door and front opposite side fender and new back bumper. Went from maroon to olive green metallic. You should see her. Found your video for LED advice. Thanks

The LED signals need 50w 6ohm LED load resistors .. Won't the LED headlights run hot with the rubber boots restricting air to the LED bulb cooling fans ..

Reading below, no you don't need a blinker relay, its a resistor with heatsink thats wired inline at the marker light.

in order to fix your blinker problem you need a LED relay flasher that goes on the left side of the steering wheel when you open the door. you’ll see it in there. the fuse box will have 2 of those. one is for the blinkers and the other is for the emergency lights if i remember correctly. i changed out both of them years ago because i’m running all LEDs. actually i have a video on m channel on it if you want to exactly what i’m talking about

I bought OEM headlights and put LED bulbs in them. I put red led bulbs in the turn signals. Love them. Bright as hell. Did not do the fog lights. Did not do my brake lights yet. Although I did put LED bulbs in my reverse lights.

So I installed LED headlight bulbs and LED fog light bulbs but I can’t seem to run them at the same time. When my headlights are on and I turn the switch on for fog lights, the highlight beam comes on and fog lights won’t turn on. Only way the fog lights work is if I don’t turn on the headlamps or just turn them on half way to only light up the turn signal lights for daytime driving. Any suggestions? (1999 Dodge Ram 1500)

the sport has a different light...2 bulbs high and low...all others it is only one bulb...they should fit the same but different wiring...

Headlights work great- but the tail lights- I put LED for turn signal, but the brake/ running light (while on) won’t turn on. Rotated 180° and tried again… nothing. Both sides. Any suggestions?
