I dont remember ever a Jedi saying that as a master they can defeat every sith. Yoda said in the story the light is strong but do not underestimate the powers of the emperor. If a sith beats a jedi its because there knowledge of the force is greater and their skills with a lightsaber., the same if a jedi defeats a sith.

While the storyline itself was pretty awesome, Jaesa's actual conversion was pretty weak. It should have been expanded upon. Making someone a psycho that quickly is pretty lame. Why would she suddenly be excited to kill her master, why did she suddenly find his quick answers so convincing as her world had been crushed? Maybe some cutscenes with her on Korriban would have been good to expand the story

It was, at the same time, the best and the worst. The fact that you can have a disciple to train, to teach, and she can either be a someone trying to understand your light side Sith or a Sith Lord in the making, Is great, and the character of Jaesa was great idea and concept. BUT It's rushed. Too rushed. She goes from good jedi girl from murdering looney in 15 seconds and 2 lines of dialogue. It's too over the top. Some conversations with her, making her more and more attracted to you during the quest for finding her, and her character evolving more slowly towards the dark side, it will be good. There's a line where the Sith Warrior says "Anger, bitterness, guilty... Keep those emotions, use them to fuel your power". She may haver shown regret and sorrow to kill her former master, and from there, a bit slower evolution towards a murdering looney. It would have been much better. In other words. Great idea, bad portrayed.

I don't understand why Jaesa who is first strong willed and so on, falls so quickly and willingly, but in the inquisitor storyline, Ashara who literally shows traits of being a sith, legit sticks to her jedi values even after recruiting her as your apprentice even though the inquisitor is meant to be the master manipulator.

The Inquisitor didn't really get much in the way of actual lessons from either Harkun or Zash. (beyond having other students killed as examples.) So the finer points of manipulation and making a Jedi fall to the Dark Side weren't in the Inquisitor's syllabus. (And Baras did say that corrupting Jedi is something best left to the Masters.)

Ashara is confused. She has & uses her Dark side powers, but she thinks they are jedi powers. She doesn't understand that if she were really a jedi, then she would have been able to lift the big rock. She's the ghost from _The Sixth Sense,_ except she doesn't realize that she's dark side instead of dead. She uses her dark side power, but she thinks she believes they are light side powers

On Belsavis, the Warrior runs into Master Timns, who was Noman Karr's Padawan before Jaesa. If you let Karr go back to the Council, Timns will tell you that Noman has stopped communing with the Force altogether.

He's far too wounded at that point to fight back anymore, even against Sith Troopers, so it's a moot point. Had the Warrior not ordered Jaesa to kill him, the troopers likely would have taken his lightsaber from him, ostensibly to then present it to Baras as a trophy/gift from you.

That's the thing about Dark Side corruption, it's almost like a high. It feels good to tap into the Dark Side and use it's power, all while wallowing in the emotions that come with it, which makes it an intoxicating experience, and thus it becomes addicting. Hence why it's so easy for Jedi to fall to the Dark Side, while it's also so hard for those corrupted by the Dark Side to be redeemed. One of the few things shown to be strong enough to truly redeem a Dark Sider is genuine heartfelt and selfless love (like how Anakin's love for his son allowed him to be redeemed and turn against Palpatine). Jolee Bindo from the first KOTOR will even tell you as much when questioned about love.

it does seem weird how quickly she turns to the dark but taking into consideration we just killed her parents, her old mentor, her friends, then exposed her master and her order, coupled with clear signs of frustration towards the jedi ways prior to the confrontation, i think she was already at her breaking point when she arrived and that made seducing her a walk in the park

Converting her was so cool. I killed the Tatooine master, but I left her parents live to confuse her. Then I showed her how her master really was. After, I defeated her when she was using her most primal emotions. When she fell to the dark side I was saying "Gooood goood". The funniest thing is the destiny of Nomen Karr: his mission failed, his Padawan in Sith hands and he would soon have a slow and painful death at the hands of Baras.

Both factions Jedi and Sith infuse themselves with the force to engage in Lightsaber combat, it allows them to react instantly and with a sense of perception greater then base instinct. Both Jedi and Sith Also use the force to augment their combat abilities, to make themselves faster and stronger. So command of the force has much to do with Lightsaber combat; Although if you look at beings such as Dooku he had the best of both worlds. A masterful duelist and strong command of the force.

Jaesa becomes repulsed by the darkness, tries to kill you, then decides that the Dark Side is stronger after you beat her. If you encounter her with a perfectly balanced Light and Dark rating, she becomes confused by the contradictions she sees and decides to attack, to the same effect.

xSteel FeveRx 4 years late but here it goes. Light: Initially tries to keep reforming the Empire from within but leaves once the Sith start turning on each other again following reports of Marr’s death. Ends up being accepted back into the Jedi, leading to her ending up on Dantooine where she eventually meets the SW (now Outlander) again and potentially joins the Alliance. Dark: Starts going on a bloody rampage across Zakuul space before setting her sights on uncovering Sith artefacts, hoping that they contain the means to increase her power further. Continues this until catching word of the Eternal Alliance and of her former Sith master as its leader, leading her to presume that the SW had intentionally abandoned her (just like her family, the Alderaan noble houses & the Jedi had done). Strikes Odessan after the Zilldrog incident and is caught after a failed attempt on Lana’s life, who leaves Jaesa’s fate to the “Commander”. Either Dark Jaesa ends up remaining a prisoner, killed in a short duel with the Wrath or joins the Alliance after the SW apologies and assures he/she won’t abandon her again or confesses feelings for her and starts/resumes a relationship.

Juggernaut is the tank, you'll be drawing the attention of the others & dealing damage. Marauder is more about force powers and double-bladed lightsavers, a hybrid dps class similar to the inquisitor. I was told when I started Juggy was the way to go if you want to play w/others. Plus I chose the football/wrestler body type.

Agreed but there is a reason it is said that only a force sensitive trained in the use of a lightsaber can wield one and that anyone not trained in its use would likely end up harming themselves rather than their enemies (quoting that from KOTOR) that reason is because the one factor that makes lightsaber blades resist each other is the negative magnetic force the blade produces, making it tough to wield and even harder to duel with hence why the force is required to keep control of the blade.

It Depends upon the Invidual truely. Several Non force users have defeated force users in Melee combat when fighting against a lightsaber, Bobba Fett held his own against Darth Vader when fighting against him with a lightsaber. Prince Xizor fought successfully against a Jedi Knight armed with the force in Melee combat. All in all? It requires the training and skill to use a device rather then mere relience upon the force. There is more then enough evidence out there to confirm that.

I really loved how the Sith Warrior slowly drove Jaesa to darkness over a longer period of time by killing her former master, parents, colleagues etc. Defeating her and the whole scene with Nomen Karr was also great. However the utmost ending with her saying that she has a tast for blood now was a bit too much for my taste. Sure, she can be bloothirsty but not immediately after her conversion.

That's the thing about the Dark Side. It's addicting, and allowing it to flow through you exposes you to all of the emotions that come with it. It's a bit like a drug high, and that's why Dark Side corruption is so hard to resist, and why it's so hard to redeem someone who has fallen to the Dark Side.

The Issue with that Duel was that Dooku was destined to lose, Despite even Mace Windu the greatest active swordsmen of the Jedi Order in Generations being unable to defeat Dooku and barely able to Draw with even even calling upon his weapon of Vaapad All of this was forgone when The choosen one and the Sith Lord Squared off for the final time.Anakin was far too green and weak to beat Dooku, He had the ability and given time he could have defeated Dooku.

Not doing Heroics is ok, though you will lose out on good loot and the like. Starting Nar Shadda at level 20 is ok too, just make sure you are at least level 24 when you leave.
