Lyft scooter mechanic here. Not sure when or where that model is from, but, at least here in Denver, the vast majority are 2.2. The main differences is how you access the battery area and the IOT (GPS brain part.) IOT is a similar removal, but different cables. As for accessing the battery hatch, there's 3 things to get through if you don't have their nfc crap. One is more security torx to remove a plastic piece next to the rear wheel. Thus will expose the rear light cable, as well as 2 pentagon bits. After you remove the penta bits there's a keyhole. We have the keys, but they're basically just flat pipes of metal, so you can probably just pick your way in. This will get you access to the majority of the cablage, and, of course, the battery. Really nice, bug batteries. I don't know if any replacement IOT will work with the control board, which is in the base, and accessible by removing 4 triangle bits. All that being said, get one with tires that are intact because replacing them *suuucks* Also, as a lyft mechanic, screw em. Modify to your hearts content. For legal reasons, don't steal them. But uhm. I won't tell...

You need a Dashboard, a Controller Replacement or flash the Controller that came with the scooter, the Battery Pack also needs to be flash out or do a bypass, oh just get a new Batter Pack stock from Segway. I got a Lyft scooter from a Garage sale it was all wrapped up with plastic, after getting it home I cut off the plastic discovering that it was a Lyft scooter. I believe it might be stolen as even the pink and purple color squares were taped over to conceal that it belonged to Lyft. It does not look like the one in your video. I tried to call Lyft with no luck but did send them a note through there lost item complaint on lift's web site. It looks like an older model and the top controller is completely missing, but it is a clam shell type, if that helps to identify the model. My original intention was to fix this scooter up for my daughter as a replacement for her old scooter that is falling apart. until I found out it was not a privet scooter. any idea on how to proceed. If Lyft does not want it back or does not get back to me, Can I legally fix it up with out worry. Any advice would be appreciated, Thankyou.

Remove the 5 pin cable in the neck. Its only a short cable connection. It’s not very long. It is connected to a 4 pin. Let me know if you have any problems. You will need a new controller also. The one you blew up is toasted for good.

And in the scooter have 3 connectors, one for the throttle I think is a green, red and black wires, a 2 wire connector that I think is for the led light is black, white wires and a third connector that also think is for brake light that has blue, red and black wires. Can I just splice the 5 green wire and cut the pin 5?

Yes, you can find it from $15-$50 on eBay/Amazon. They will all work. I get mine from AliExpress for less than $10.00 each but I also have to wait awhile to get it in. I’ve not had any dealings with electric bikes.
