Awesome vehicle for solo journeys!! Just finished up my July travels in a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan. Similar setup, elevated bed, single rear seat, removed large rear and middle row seats. Visited the Henry Ford Museum, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, NFL Hall of Fame, all 3 September 11th Memorials, Arlington Cemetery, National Corvette Museum, Nashville, three different Buckee’s, Florida Keys, New Orleans, Four Corners, Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Golden Gate Bridge, Multnomah Falls, Space Needle and Devil’s Tower. Untold conversations with strangers. Endless homeless from coast to coast! 117 degrees in the California desert, 58 degrees on the Golden Gate Bridge. 101 degree water in Key Largo, Gators in Florida, chickens in the Keys. 80 mph in Oklahoma, Texas, Montana Wyoming and South Dakota. Gas was $2.92 in Alabama and $5.79 in the desert. $4.99 all the way up the West Coast. 24 days, 48 states, 13,482 miles, three oil changes, zero hotels, countless fill ups and 3,000 photos/videos. The van was flawless!!!! Forgot the destination, enjoy the journey!!!

I day hike the AT a lot in Pennsylvania and have been thinking about doing a similar thing but not all at once. Just some trips to individual spots. I am also a teacher who just retired in June. I have a 2016 Town and Country. I've been considering replacing it with something that gets better MPGs and with AWD, but for now I'm going to use it and see what happens. BTW, your "failed intro" video was hilarious. It's interesting how we can stand in front of 25 to 30 students and have no problem. But, hold a little camera up and we lose our minds! LOL! I want to do a no build as well. Not sure I I want to remove any seats in my van because I don't relish the thought of reinstalling them if I want to replace it at some point. I hate working with tools! Anyway, did you decide not to do videos? Only see a few shorts here and the two other videos. At this point you're back in school. So, have a great year! Maybe our paths will cross some day on the AT.

Please elaborate on your hiking plan. Are you going to hike for 4ish hours along the trail and then get an Uber back to you van, or are you going to hike for 2ish hours along the trail then turn around hike back to your van?

I would never want my cooking and any of my stuff facing to the outside. I would want it all contained so that everything was reachable from the inside. So many are doing it and I an sure it is enjoyed but I would want total privacy personally

I love chryslers. Absolutely obsessed. I wish you didn't do all that writing on it on the thumbnail. All the mistreat and disrespect Chrysler's are getting is absolutely disgusting. They deserve far better. Wish you didn't cover up the lisence plate. I wrote down a whole list of them so i remember which ones ive seen. Maybe i can get a photo editor so i can make it more clear at the beginning. Let me know when you're done with your chrysler because I might want to have it.
