Or you could dip a rag in the stain & do a light wash over the terra cotta red frame, or you could get yourself a nice mexican or navajo poncho or blanket for a bed cover that would bring out the best in the colour you blended.

When I converted my van I used milk crates for the base and then use a piece of plywood and cut it in the middle and put a big hinge in it that way I could use the milk crates for storage and lift up each side depending on what I needed. That way if you ever want to use the van for hauling all you have to do is take out the milk crates. Bonus you can prop it up against the back doors and use it as a couch. If you need something for a specific task you can have each milk crate allotted with those items.

Nice job! I am building out my 2nd gen honda odyssey into a camper right now as well! If you're not planning on taking your bed out ever, then you're missing out on a ton of storage space by leaving those rear seats in. I removed mine and built my bed over the recess in the back with a latch that lifts up to get to the storage area.

I would wrap the foam bedding in plastic sheeting to protect it in case of liquid spills (coke, milk, tea etc). This way you only have to wash bed sheets and not the foam material. Keep going! 👍

I think the color of frame is fun. You have lots of room under bed for storage. Throw on your warm bedding and go on an adventure.

My suggestion would be to cover the frame with 1/4" mdf, and replace the slots with a 1/2" mdf, , cover it with black speaker carpet, and use piano hinges and screw it on the frame,, so could could access all your stuff under, and put the foam over to use as a bed, and the drawer, use a heavy duty drawer slide, Amazon should have those..

I spent time setting up the back of my Grand Caravan in similar fashion then realized there's no internal door release for the rear hatch, which needs to stay closed if it's raining. What I did was rig up some leftover tent poles to the roof rack then use an 8x10 tarp sticking out over the side door. That gave me just enough room to have a spot for a folding chair that stayed dry.

Juliana, at Walmart they have those tiny foam roller that you can roll over any color and fix it easily. You will pack so much stuff in this van, you won't even notice that pink color.
