Craig definitely won, he actually turned his motorcycle in to a boatercycle (motorcycle powered boat) now being put into full scale production called the Yamaha Barge. All shawn did was hauling a well decorated motorcycle on some paddle boards XD. Good job on making a funny build up to an underwater recovery, better to get it out of the environment later than never! Doing some well needed service protecting our environment.
@ronniewilliz1532 жыл бұрын
Right. I wanted Craig to win he had the perfect set up.
@BikingVikingHH2 жыл бұрын
First thing I thought was combine the two ideas, Craigs power plant on Sean‘s flotation device(but with a good rudder), even double the boards and double the bikes onto one boat; really see if you can get that thing going!
@phild98132 жыл бұрын
Yeah Shawn was DQed before they even started. He didn’t even need a bike.
@ntdscherer2 жыл бұрын
Though if you're going to dump a motorcycle in a body of water, do it in a quarry.
What's funny is that body glove just did a recall on those paddle boards, because they would blow up to easily due to glue failure

One of my favourite things to watch as a kid was a show called scrap heap challenge which basically consisted of two opposing teams (of engineers) who are tasked with designing and creating some sort of crazy machine and then putting them to the test at the end. This video totally reminds me of that show. I think you should shoot a video where you have to create a functional bike when only supplied with a small 125cc engine, tools and a big open scrap yard.

solid foam, metal pipe, epoxy paint to coat it once assembled, build pontoons center of mass and elevated so it can't flip and clamp the frame to the bike frame so the rear tire touches the water just under the hub, set up a double fin behind the wheel to direct the water flow for steering, also add an engine snorkel for the crankcase and intake to be safe and silicone your terminals

i like shawn's floatation method better (although i would have gone with three to be safe), but i like craig's propulsion method way way better (in theory of operation; not sure what went wrong). if there was any wind at all, shawn's leaf blowers would have done nothing whatsoever.

Something I would have done is get hold of some discarded 55 gallon plastic barrels (what they use for holding vanilla extract and whatnot) and made two pontoons from 4 barrels (a pontoon each side made from two barrels attached end to end). Then I would build a platform between them, and add a paddle wheel like on the old paddle steamers to the back. Then a rudder on the front, and after removing the tire from the rear rim I would run a rope or belt to the paddle wheel.
