Coming back to your earlier videos for some inspiration of my own, and after watching this particular one I shall forever refer to 2019 as “The Dark Year”

Lol, not like anything else has changed since then :P may just label all of this the new "dark ages" :P

If you're looking for naked minis I've been eyeing up Ragnarok Miniatures, they've got naked humans, dwarves and goblins. But yeah, Goya has been one of my favourite artists since I was a kid, his later work is so surreal. I've decided to go with the idea that the bodies had to be defiled to make them into spectres. So I've given a couple animal skulls instead of ordinary heads and replacing limbs and such
@AndurzTalksHobbies2 жыл бұрын
Lol! Not sure I'm ready to go full body horror with straight up nudes yet but will definitely keep them in mind! And that's a wild idea, very "haunted swamp" feeling, very aso28

@@AndurzTalksHobbies oh, I may have misunderstood something you said in the video, I thought you wanted some you could add clothes to, that's my plan anyway. Thanks! I think it's coming along nicely

@@AndurzTalksHobbies I made a pretty cool orc wearing some fashionable Gondor Amour, maybe a cool idea for your army to do something similar. Maybe an Angmar orc using scraps of elf armour.
@AndurzTalksHobbies3 жыл бұрын
Could be very cool! One of my long term plans is to do up a custom/proxy heavy arnor force to face off with them, so maybe once I've settled on a look for them that would be a good one!

This would also work great for undead warriors in a Warhammer Vampire Counts army. They look a bit like dead imperials.

@@AndurzTalksHobbies Gives you so many more options. Lots of GW purists out there need converting!
@AndurzTalksHobbies3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely. I tried to include at least 1 gw piece on each model so i can argue my way into tournaments with them :P but otherwise i just went with anything that feels good! Also, i really like uaing perry minis since they're the same sculptors as a lot of the original lotr range so it all ties in!
@jmaccsarmiesofArda3 жыл бұрын
@@AndurzTalksHobbies Haha thats a brilliant Idea. Perry minis are fantastic, I have never had an issue with their bits being out of scale with lotr.
@AndurzTalksHobbies3 жыл бұрын
@@jmaccsarmiesofArda Yah they're great. Sometime I find them a bit small compared to some of the newer stuff from the range... but honestly the early gw plastics do that too :P Scale creep is total a thing!

Wow, they are amazing. I love the furs and helmets on the skulls. How did you do those?
@AndurzTalksHobbies Жыл бұрын
Thanks! The skulls with helmets just had a bit cut off them and then replaced with the helmets (which I cut the preexiting heads off of) and the fur bits are static grass like I did on my orcs.

Great Video, the spectres came better than the GW oficial Models!! I enjoy your content so don't take this personally. In my opinion asking for patreon money when the channel doesn't make money from ad revenue is a bit sketchy. The channel is growing but it requires 1000 subs to start making ad money. I think it's a little unfair to ask money from the viewers whilst the channel isn't making any. It's just my personal opinion though, I hope the channel really grows and you actually get the subscribers the channel deserves. But as of late I think it's to soon to ask for patreon money. Your Subscriber Fred

Thanks man! And yah no i don't expect anything. I created a patreon a couple years back actually when i was just thinking stuff up, and since i had it already and people were asking about it I activated it for the channel. Its just been great to have as many people watching as I do!
