That Xian noodle place is one of myself and wife’s favorite. Only drawback is that it is a tiny place inside a Vietnamese supermarket and easy to miss. Glad that Mickey made it there. From a LV native ❤️

So many of us comfort ourselves with foods from our childhood. I grew up in Virginia in the US. A very poor area. We did not eat a lot of meat. We sold what we had to by school shoes and other needs. But there were a lot vegetables, because we had a huge garden, which mostly fed us. I still get giddy over a meal of soup beans, cornbread, and fried potatoes loaded with peppers and onions. Thank you for introducing us to your family. I,at 80 wish my grandparents were still with me, they taught me everything I know. Love your videos!!

Xian cuisine is one of my favorites. It's hard to find in the US. I can't wait to make it to Vegas and try this place out, it looks amazingly authentic and delicious♥️! Quick note: There is a documentary series on Netflix called Flavorful Origins that highlights different foods from different Chinese provinces. The segment on Xian/gluten is fascinating and worth a watch.
