if h(t-T) then right shift and if h(t+T) then left shift

She is in the tau domain. Let tau be a. When she changes domain from t to tau, t=a. So, h(t) becomes h(a). Then h(a) was reflected, becoming h(-a). If you introduce a negative time shift, called +t, then h(-a) becomes (h(-a+t) = h(t-a) where t is the time shift variable.
