Just watched your showing on this. I wanted to get it as fast as possible .I picked it up off of Amazon. I should be getting it soon . I guess I’m gonna have to wear a glove for this one,although I live in New York😳.I’m waiting for the 3×21D from AliExpress along with my 4×18A . Hello my friend. Quick question on these L21 lights. Seeing as there are multiple emitter options & convoys are known to be somewhat diy, does Convoy sell complete pills you can swap in & out of the head. (Like the old P60 lights). Keep up the great reviews my friend!

Looks interesting, I believe you seem correct, should have used the L21A host for perhaps better heat dissipation. Looks good though, might have to try one out soon.

The L21B was designed primarily as a meapon mountable model for my hunting store, so Simon knows it'll get my interest as the owner of a flashlight company. This is why the L21B was used instead of the L21A. Also because the B model is much more popular. Edit: I've heard way too many people complain about how bulky and heavy the L21A model is, so makes sense it wasn't used.

I remember when Astrolux or Mateminco introduced the FT03 with SBT 90.2, the cost at the time chased me away. Looked a good light, if a light is useful, and costs are practical, always a victory.

@@Next96300 yeah, he won't design one, this has been raised with him multiple times and nothing has been done. I personally don't care too much at this price point, if people want everything to be just right then there's more expensive brands out there, or you make your own switch. It's not hard to source another remote switch and wire it in. I've found that only around 5% or less hunters in New Zealand use a remote switch, so for me it's not needed. I'd suggest checking the Osram green mcpcb screws are tight, Convoy loosen then so the reflector can center the emitter. This isn't ideal when mounted as the recoil could work them out and cause a short. I manually center each one. I use the kweld and spot weld buttons on all batteries for my store. It takes ages, but beats getting poor welds from China factories.

How do you rate this against the Wurkkos TS30SPRO 5600K? It also has the SBT90.2, but with Andurill 2, doesn't get super hot and has more than enough throw to make kids up to no good across my park start running lol! 🤣Great video as always. 👍

Convoy has just released the 90.2 in the L21A body that should have more heat dissipation than the L21B. How do you think this would compare to the 3X21D with the 90.2? There is a fair bit of price difference between these two in my Country, and I'm not sure I want a light with a handle yet. Talk me into one of them lol. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Wow $17 that's too much IMHO, you can get a Samsung 40t for $5 and I would feel comfortable using a 40t in the e75 or the molicel p45b or p42a and the molicel have a slightly raised flat top so does the 40t but the molicel are raised a little higher.
