You always seem to bring out the review of the flashlight that I'm interested in buying, LOL! I have a M21A with SFT40 6A driver and I think this L21B is a perfect next step up. One thing to mention is that the 8A driver in it is a high efficiency buck driver so it should run better than the 6A linear driver. For the same brightness it should provide longer runtime.

L21B is quite good in terms of weight if compared to L21A sir. It seems to deal with heat quite well too. I turned it on quite long while I was reviewing it. I didn't notice the heat. Thanks for watching and sharing sir 😊🙏.

I still want an sft40 flashlight and was contemplating the L21b or astrolux ft03. I however bought the catapult pro neutral white sft70. Great light but don't like the battery it comes with too much(won't turbo under 3.8 volts). Definitely happy with getting the neutral white after seeing this vid. Great colour on the L21a. Good reviews I've seen many of yours....subscribed....sir...lol. All the best. ✌️

L21A uses culpm1 sir. Although culpm1 is not as bright as sft40 but for me it has a better tint. It's a bit yellow. Thanks for watching and your support sir 😊🙏.

Even though it appears the osram throws just a bit farther, I'll take the larger hotspot between these two any day. I think the Osram works better in small lights open up the beam due to their small reflectors. The SFT and SBT emitters work better in larger lights that can also handle the heat better.

Good review ,video and comparision sir. throws fantastic good 👍I bought a Convoy L21B host and put in a sft 70 diod.( 6 volt) And a measuring a throw 1073 meter distance. Astrolux Ft03 s SBT 90 throws 1134 meter distance. so Sft 70 and SBT is almost equal😊SFT 70 is 4 time cheaper 😉

You need to find a flashlight with big head and deep reflector. The led should be sft40 or culpm1. I think this l21b is good enough sir. It has a big host with temperature Control. I think It won't be very hot. For battery, find 21700 5000mah sir like vapcell gold. Or you need a flashlight that can hold 2 21700 batteries. Personally, I prefer a flashlight with one battery. Hello sir. To be honest, I am not sure about that. Why? Because normally convoy's driver controls the temperature at 55°c. This host is quite big so it doesn't get hot fast + the ambient temperature may also affect turbo runtime. My area is about 30°c. My guest is turbo may last about 2-3 minutes and then it will step down a bit but still very bright. Thanks for watching and your support sir 😊🙏.

Hello sir. L21a and L21b can use the same driver. Similar reflector size. Heat depends on how well the host is designed to deal with heat. I think L21A heats up slower but its weight is heavier. L21B is quite light. In this vdo, my L21A uses a driver with no temperature control so it heats up with no limit and can damage the light if I don't pay enough attention to it.. That convoy 8a 3volt driver is good. and you dont have to spent too long on turbo ; the 40% mode is sufficient. Better to have such power in reserve, and when its needed its available.
