Hey Joseph, the L7/L8 look pretty similar in the beamshots! Thanks for making this video. I mainly wanted to see if the beam profile was similar or not.

I think the L8 would really come into its own at long ranges (around 1km) where it's larger reflector will be focusing the beam a bit tighter and further.

I totally agree with you. I have both lights and they both have their place for monsters 👹 throwers.love them both but the real king of convoy is the 3×21 D it’s a monster to say the least.out of the three my favorite is the L8 it’s ease of Carrie and look and feel for me makes it my favorite. Another nice torch just a bigger is the k75 2.0 . I’m hoping AceBeam comes out with a bigger battery tube for that light like they did with the X 75.🔦

Joseph, thanks for making this production.love watching your work brother.I have the L8 along with the L7 but Joseph, that 3×21D😳that just reaches to the stars ⭐️ . I just got the K75 2.0 didn’t get it out of the box yet picked it up a couple of days ago. It’s been raining in New York didn’t wanna take it out in the rain. I’ll tell you another cool, 90.2 is my little Manker MC13 ll limited edition with the extended tube. It’s so damn little and so damn cool. Another nice light from AceBeam which I love for its size is the K30 GT it’s a perfect size .the only thing I wish I didn’t have to deal with is too take the battery’s out every time too charge them.but the good about that is that it’s waterproof capacity is just that much better so it’s a toss up.

Many thanks Mr Chrome! Good to see the MT35 in the mix too, love the warm 4k. Taking everything into account I'm still going to go for the L7, I like the 'Maglite on 'roids' look of it and it's plenty powerful enough for my purposes. Interesting the QB 27800 was left behind by the Molicell 21700, hopefully better cells will be developed in the future. Thanks again, all the best!

What I like about the L7 is it is a double cell battery so it will have a much better runtime than the L8. Good choice!

@@polymathematics5837 I've not regretted getting the L7 one bit, it's satisfyingly hefty especially with two 26800 cells and extensions, as you say the run times are good and it has more than enough throw for my needs.👍
