Hey guys, looks like the loop is going well. Stopping for a month is just great. It's not like you're on a schedule and isn't finding cool interesting places what it's all about. Keep the good stuff coming guys and I'll miss not seeing Kiki.

We definitely miss seeing Kiki :(. This video was pretty hard to produce as it was from the 'before times'.

I’m an RVer so mostly know the two of you from RVing info. But I live in Southport, go to Wilmington frequently and agree that it is a cool town. Before hubby passed we had a trawler and went to Wilmington about twice a season. We’d tie up along the river walk somewhere, go to dinner, etc. Miss our trips up the river. Also highly recommend a stop in Beaufort NC. Enjoy your loop!

Beaufort is one of our next planned stops - looking forward to it!

I have through there many times. I never found it a big deal as long as you stay close to the center. But some good advice on when passing barges.

Hey thanks for the update I grew up in Southport during the summers and still come back to vacation. I am looking forward to looking up the couple on the inlet there. We, Denver and Myself are following and looking into which vessel will be right for us. Denver is 6'7" so him fitting in and on is important. I am short so I want something i feel safe putting out the fenders. I want one boat he wants a trawler one engine >>>> HMMM we will sees who wins this battle. We still have about 5 yrs before we get totally ready to do serious shopping.

Wilmington is accessible from Wrightsville Beach. However, staying Downtown is a great alternative. And when you use Snows Cut it is not far out of your way. And where you stayed, you probably heard a concert or two.
@Technomadia3 ай бұрын
Indeed - the concerts at or near the marina were fabulous. So much live music!

Good info. on the fresh water pump, thanks. Do you have Cummins engines?
@Technomadia3 ай бұрын
Yes, Cummins 370s
@larrydicenzo38263 ай бұрын
@Technomadia , I have them as well and love them. Did you do the impeller replacement or did you find a mechanic?
@Technomadia3 ай бұрын
We did it ourself. It is a painful chore!
@larrydicenzo38263 ай бұрын
@@Technomadia , I have gathered that. My port engine will be a real chore due to space constriction! Wish me luck

I've never heard the term velcro town before now. Is velcro town a boating term or do Rv'rs use it too.
@Technomadia3 ай бұрын
We've heard it mostly in the boating community.. but the concept is universal to all nomads.
