Alley ooped to Conway and then Conway's verse pops tf off. He needed that from JID. As a rapper it trips me out about how intricate JID gets with this and how much fun he makes it when it's just a feature verse. But also I know I'd try to bring whatever energy that was meant for the track itself and it's always dope when your goal is to have your feature be the reason people listen.

I would love to here JID on more joints with Conway, the contrast of their vocal tones on a on this record is buttery on this record. Tonal transitions is something most listeners don't pay attention to when verses blend into each other without a hook to separate them. it was smart move to let things breathe a bit before an artist with a unique voice and delivery like Ludacris allowing the decorated Emcee enough space to kick off a verse (Which was stylistically different for theirs might I add) that delivered the proper amount of barage (yep I made that up "bärij") to remind us exactly why Luda the legend he is. It blows my mind how people make lists of the legends, like eminem, jay z, tupac, biggie, etc... and I never hear luda mentioned. He definetly deserves to be on that list imo. He's always been one of my favorites. His style reminds me of a comic book but in audio form, if that makes sense. Basically like his "stand up" video or "get back" but I visualize every song he does like that lol. His words paint those type of visuals

Imo Luda is arguably the best southern rapper to do it, he's been more consistent with his flows and content than most in his era. 15+ years of fire. The Ludaversal intro showcases his talent, not many in the industry can fuck with the flows and rhymes on that track.
@mistergaudy87053 жыл бұрын
@@thejuan62 Salute to that, king. I would have to put Scarface above him, though in my perspective content and potent subject matter throughout multiple eras, THE GETO BOYS, and his group Tha Product was 🔥. Another rapper that does not get enough bouquet of flowers. 💯

@@mistergaudy8705 Scarface was dope! Great at telling the story and painting the picture. UGK were solid too, dont think I ever heard a wack verse from Bun B either. All pioneers and unique. Like let's be real JID been listening to luke since he was 9. Now he rapping with luda. I love how dat nigga luda STILL spit the same after 21 years.
