I had an acquaintance who called up Conway Twitty back in the 1980's. He was actually listed in the phone book under "Harold Jenkins'.! He answered the phone himself and she pretended to know him. She said that he was very polite. Eventually she admitted that she was just a fan that did not really know him and he chuckled and was very nice. He was a real person!!
