Has been on my playlist for some time, just watched, best country singer I've ever heard. Honored to have seen him in concert in Hampton, VA. I was pregnant when Conway passed away, never forget that day ... driving, announcement came on radio, I had to get off road I was bawling, my son was born 6 weeks early, I know his early birth was from the loss of Conway, hit so hard. I'd love to lay you down was always a good song, I have all albums, you are deeply loved and missed, music will always live on with me. Conway Twitty's Greatest Hits, every night walk with my son in stroller then dancing him to sleep with your music. ❤

Conway was great. I loved hearing him and Loretta sing duets. They were it in the 70's. Loretta said that she broke down bad when Conway passed away. She said that Doolittle was in the hospital and she thought that Conway was coming to visit Doo but he was coming in as a patient. So sad.

Miss Conway so much. Two of the sexiest voices in Country Music, Conway Twitty & Marty Robbins! And you can't get any better than Coway & Loretta singing together. My favorite Conway song is "You've Never Been This Far Before". How many male singers do you know, that can get away with singing in a pink leisure suit on Hew Haw & still be sexy?? ONLY CONWAY!!!

I am grateful l that I heard, seen him perform at Ponderosa park and he even sang "Happy Birthday Darlin'." "He was a great singer and I cried, even wrote a letter on the day he passed away expressing my thoughts, cried my eyes out for days when Conway went to Heaven. what is really haunting was his last album release was called final touches. :(
