I've always thought not having the option to wear raider disguise was a shame. Not just for blending in but also making ncr, strip, legion etc instantly hostile. I'm sure loads would enjoy a raider rp play through. I also never understood why all their armor is so heavy yet so trash. Like 4 dt for most I think. So most people would never even wear it for more than like 10 mins. Garbage.

The only advance in raider armor is a viper (I think) leader at bitterspring and a reinforced armor on one of road from nipton up to vegas. Failing that it's metal armor like cook cook. Which due to a glitch in a perk has no redeemable features. I usually get the reinforced combat from gamorrah pretty early on.

You can save the brotherhood/boomers/khans or wipe them out. You can ensure the ncr run vegas, or the legion, or mr house, or you. You can complete the game killing everyone you meet or no one yet being a raider "wouldn't work". Why?

I kind of wish they kept this part in because you can tell each of the fiend lieutenants has a drug of choice. Nephi is eerily calm indicating he's on barbiturates like med-x, Violet acts like she's hopped up on amphetamines like Jet, while Cook-Cook is a psycho because he's on psycho.

@@Loderyod raiders do fit though, it's hard to join a band of people that kill everything on sight, most of them are cannibals as well. I think raider bands exist before the raiding actually happens, so if you aren't in the group before they realize killing is the way to go there's no way in. The only other way in is to already be in a raider clan and be absolved by another one, which again isn't possible. I'm pretty sure you meant the game, but if you meant the location then how don't they fit? A group of people deciding taking what they want is the best way to survive a post apocalyptic world makes sense in any area of the globe
