Thankyou for showing Mangaia. I live in Port Moresby, PNG, and thank God for a founding pioneer teacher and missionary that first settled Port Moresby in 1871 with the iconic London missionary society (lms),Ruatoka from Mangaia❤❤❤

Thank You Katrina love your V-Log. I grew up in Ivirua myself. I am your cousin. My grandma and your grandpa on mums side are brothers and sisters. I live in Melb. I'm in tears watching all your video, bringing back memories of my childhood. I cant wait to go back and show my kids my home. Mangaia will always be my home.

Hi, it's good to see your vlog, unfortunately our island is no longer the place that was back in the day.Sadly not many mangaians take the time to come for a visit after all memories do play a big part in life, thanks

Definitely a place many of us should come back too, worth the trip 🥰

Wow. I really enjoyed watching your vlogs of mangaia. My parents are from there too and we plan to visit one day. I’ve heard stories from my parents about how their life was growing up in mangaia and I would love to see those places in person. Thank you for your vlogs. 🌺💕

Back in the olden days our people used to live in caves and up the mountains, they lived there because its easier to see the enemies approaching from a distance. When Christianity arrived, we moved down towards the sea to where the villages are now as Christianity put an end to the bloodshed.

Who are you girls? Now I see my great grandfathers stone there. And I know that hill. I planted a huge field of pineapple below there in the 90’s

We are from the Mautaiki Ngavii family on our grandmothers side, the place is bush now but family told us it used to be a pineapple plantation long time ago. It was beautiful to see, definitely miss it 👍
