Glad I got to surf it before NZ took it back over and all the new resorts went up. Back then, getting any photos of surfing there off the Island was very difficult, and you didn't want to get caught taking any either unless the locals knew and approved and trusted you When a spot is on, everyone knows it and they carefully monitored any outsider.

It's funny how every Muppet that leaves a negative comment has no content on their channel. Here's a link to a very rare surfer that you'll find at the Cook Islands who talks candidly about the difficulties of this wave of consequence. @@Glenholzl thanks for the link, my favorite spots in Puerto Rico are sketchier, it’s living coral and black urchins covering everything, you jump in the water and getting out you roll off your board onto the dry sand, you piss on the urchin wounds and treat your fire coral cuts and press on, that place has a nice sandy channel blown straight through the dead radioactive reef, I just don’t see the consequence with that guy riding that tidal change on his belly…you don’t have to like my post.
