There's difference. Obviously I had googled it before so I know it now. Dim sums are of Chinese origin while momos are Tibetan. In Tibet, momos are considered an unofficial national dish where they are served with hot and spicy chilli sauce. . Also, momos are essentially a dumpling of smaller size.
