Dude I'm in NC just discovered your channel and I have one question for you with all the great BBQ in NC why did you go to cookout. If you go to cookout you get the huge cheddar style
@fastfoodpitstops2 жыл бұрын
I've reviewed the Big Double Cheddar Style but never the "HUGE" yet...but that is coming :) There's more BBQ coming on the channel - I just moved back to NC after several years filming in other states so local BBQ is on the short list. Cheers!

Ok, North Carolina takes its BBQ seriously and Cookout is Eastern Style. Vinegar based sauce with no tomato or ketchup. Lexington Style has tomato in the sauce.

I LOVE THE BBQ but I have to ask no TEXAS PETE which tears my stomach up. I live the chopped pork - not too much sauce. I like red slawxbut their white slaw is a good compliment to the BBQ. The sandwich platter is a great bargain. The BBQ platter is not expensive but it doesn't come with a drink. The hushpuppies are amazing! No onions but very crisp & tasty. You can get double hushpuppies which I love if you don't want fries. Even if there is a line, they are quick and almost always 100% correct with your order. I wish they would sell BBQ by the pound!

they lied calling that cole slaw. It's more like diced onions and nothing else. I'm from Tx and I love hushpuppies but they don't go with BBQ, it's a seafood thing down here. The shakes are the only thing I would go back for at Cookout

A Northerner question: is Sweet Tea the same as Iced Tea?
@fastfoodpitstops2 жыл бұрын
Traditional sweet iced tea is brewed (or steeped) hot and then sugar is added/stirred while still hot so it dissolves. Then you serve is chilled over ice. If you ask for "iced tea" in the South, you will typically be served sweet tea; otherwise you have to ask for it unsweet. And don't even try to add packets of sugar to your cold unsweet tea...not the same at all! Cheers!
