My trick for looking at recipes online is to always click on the print recipe button, it will bring up just the recipe card with none of the blog post words or ads.

I never used to have a lot of sugar growing up as we were in Malawi and didnt have access to a lot and my mum never made things with lots of sugar. If we ever had juice is was seriously watered down and a treat. However when ever I would go to friends their parents would give us juice and every time I would get the worst tummy ache. I still get a bad reaction today if I have too much sugar, particulalry if it is in a short space of time.

So true, so annoying when it takes forever to scroll down to the recipe. Sometimes blogs have a button you can click that takes you right to the recipe but it drives me crazy when they don’t.

I normally use swerve in place of sugar when I bake. My husband and I don't do sugar as well. We use Stevia in our coffee. I use honey when I make homemade pizza dough. I too also just sub gluten flour for the flour called for.

Whenever i bake i pour a spoon of hot water on the baking soda I don’t know why but my grandma taught me i think it makes soda taste less like baking soda or something

Thank you for sharing this recipe with us. I will have to try it out. Last month I baked a zucchini bread and to me it tasted bitter, but to my mother in law it was fine. Very strange. I totally agree about recipes online. I just want the recipe and not have to scroll through a book before I get to the recipe.

Yeeeaaaaa my body does the same thing with sugar!!!!!! I made brownies from scratch for the family I thought it was tooooo sweet! It was a cup in a half and I was sooooo sick that night like June! Lol my stomachs does way better with honey or maple syrup or coconut sugar 😮‍💨

I absolutely love all of your content! I started watching you when I got pregnant with my twins, but girl! DON'T USE HONEY IN ANYTHING THAT GETS COOKED! The wax in the honey releases so many toxins! I had no idea until recently!😭
