I believe this is one of the core reasons that Russ' videos. The ease of his exposition. The breadth of his vocabulary. The preciseness of his expression and explanation, using relevant and appropriate terminology. Just have a look at one of his travel videos. His respect for other cultures and joy of experiencing them are central to his approach. I was watching another content creator visiting China and all they could muster was "wow" and "awesome". I have started my Retro Gaming journey during lockdown down. The KZbin algorithms of my feed showed me this channel and I have been an avid subscriber ever since. The "Yeah Man"thing was great too! Here's to 1M and congratulations Russ. It is always lovely to see how your hard work, enthusiastic and dedicated focus along with ethos and personal creative choices resonate with so many people. Keep the videos coming 👍🏼🤗🫶🏼

"Testing a game is a game in itself" - really interesting comment. I feel the same way about buying retro handhelds, setting them up, figuring out how to get them working, etc. I must have owned over 30 of them over the years, but each of them I have bought, built, tinkered, played a bit and then sold (up to and including a Retroid Pocket 5 which got to me just before Christmas and has now been sold on Ebay). My one device that has stayed is the Steam Deck - because it just does so many things so well. Anyway, an excellent video Russ, as ever.

Suffered from severe gastrointestinal pain as well for well over a year, they couldn't figure out what was wrong. Gastroenterologist ran tests and concluded I had IBD and that I simply needed to eat more. Well that didn't work, so I decided to try solutions myself. Tried gluten free diet.. nope, didn't work. Started cutting things out of my diet, and eventually found eliminating dark sodas (especially pepsi) kept the pains away.
