Honestly, Licorice cookie in general can be and is a deeper character when you really analyze certain details Edit: I might as well say this now, but from the more deeper parts of Licorice cookie of what I know *_there's implications that he has heritage /could've been a War victim of The Dark cacao kingdom Black Licorice tribe during a food shortage situation_* and after his tribe was either slaughtered or forced to migrate to different lands in search of safety and resources, THAT is when he likely was to move to(Or at least somehow get to) the Wizard City in search of achieving his Dream of being a powerful magic wielder And there's heavy implications that he still retains anger and bitterness from the Years while he was still young and Trying to learn to wield magic, so he could've been bullied immensely by others (Maybe even to the point of racism for him having "Unlikeable ingredients" or even for just his heritage) And only then on his Dark path of discovering Dark Magic and disregarding previous methods due to it Failing him, he soon met Dark enchantress who is the only cookie who'd ever given Licorice cookie the Admiration and recognition he so desired (giving him a need for attention and admiration from Dark Enchantress, as both personal fulfilment and as to owe his own life to her for Taking him under her wing, eventually leading to him to being Part of the Cookies of Darkness as we know today) So all of This kinda gives both motivation for Licorice cookie and Paints him as just someone who wants to be recognized By the world, So basically, dude needs a genuine Friend and some therapy (but at least he has Choco Werehound brute And Bat Cat)
