My mom has passed on but use to cook cornbread on top stove in cast iron skillet i got her cast iron pots 😁

Oh WOW, isn't that cast iron pan a treasure? My mom Has passed on also. I am 71 years old And cast iron is the best way to Cook just about everything. My corn bread.....😊 My mother told me that her mother gave her the cast iron PAN as a wedding present when she was nineteen years old, 1947, sooo, Do the math My high sided Cast iron pan is still going strong. @theresaparker4891 you as well , yes cast iron pot n pans are so great. Once you cure them they are life long for generations. My grandmother also passed she 103 🙏🌹 had a full wood cast iron cook stove in the second kitchen her home in Asheville they have huge homes and gardens. I haven't found my full stove yet, but I go trips to antique shops 😊 I'm 50 but feel I'm much older bc I'm drawn to things of my elders past😀😊 yes please have a wonderful New year 🙏
